Yes,that is very true.Schwarber who many teams did not want to sign because they said he was a terrible fielder .I did not see that.I saw him hit 51 home runs in 2022.

I was rooting for Houston primarily because my late friend Dave moved to Houston in 1967 .He loved the Astros more than anyone I ever knew who was a baseball fan.Unfortunately Dave passed away in 2012 .

My Mets had a great team ,the Dodgers had a great team,the Padres had a great team,the Yankees had a great team .Somehow the Phillies made it into the WS.

My older daughter lives 4 minutes (by car) away from us .That is almost like living with us.We see our 14 year old granddaughter several times a week.Her sister who is in college face times us or texts whenever she has time.She will be home for the Thanksgiving break in 13 days.

One of my grand dogs is going to be staying with Toby and I for a few days in January.Toby bought him a very nice comfy looking dog bed. He was here last week and we took it out for him to try.Instead of going in the bed he preferred crawling into the box it came in.That seems to be something that many dogs like .

Sometimes a revival can not be good.I know that from personal experience,In 1935 a play opened in NY and had a nice run. For a reason that I have no idea why I decided to write an updated version and got permission of the family of the late playwright to adapt a play based on the original.The play opened in 1964 and closed the same night.My Director had success with Broadway and Off Broadway productions.My cast was comprised of basically unknowns ,perhaps that was the problem.

Toby had Cataract surgery a few months ago.I am very leery of my eye being probed.I try to avoid any surgeries if I can help it .I have had 3 and that is enough.My father was healthy till age 69 ,only had one surgery in his life and lived to 86.

We expected a delivery today.The time was 11 AM to 2PM.Normally we get deliveries from the store at the last minute.Today the bell rang at 11:02.Amazing .
