I plan on taking the ones I currently have back the ship and pass them off to a couple of young ones with their parent's permission Also considering taking the pins I have accumulated and doing the same. Decluttering and giving a treat to a young one.

If I have a $500 card and a less than $500 deposit, I pay them the whole $500 towards the cruise bill. That way I do not have to keep up with the card till I make the next payment.

No, it was scanned. The person processing it just missed the second page I guess,.
-
I had a rejection because of two pages. I ended up doing a cover page with the statement that they would be getting two pages of brokerage statement. One with name and one with stock verification. I also numbered the pages 1 and 2. No problems once I started doing that.

Has anyone taken disposable trays on the ships?
Bevv replied to 1BDNANA's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Saves labor and costs. No more washing of the thousands of trays. Saves the cost of water. Saves on food costs. Over the years Carnival switched from trays to platter sized plates and then to regular plates. Less surface = less space for food to be placed. Less food = less cost and less waste. -
I just loaded up on AARP Carnival gift cards
Bevv replied to BlerkOne's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
No ones you buy it it is yours, no refunds. Also if you lose the numbers, you are out the $$. I wait to buy them till right before I book a cruise. If I felt that Carnival had a potential of going belly up soon I would not be purchasing them. -
If you do not use all of the $ from the gift card and it is more than $10, you will receive a new e-gift card. My last cruise I got it about 2 days after the cruise ended.

We packed our own tray last cruise.
-
I got mine this morning (Thursday) for a Saturday cruise. It was not available at 8pm last night.

Carnival sometimes has a military rate that is cheaper than the regular Early Saver, though.

Carnival, along with Royal, NCL, Princess etc are part of a voluntary organization called CLIA. It is very likely that all current and upcoming changes to covid policies are a direct result of agreements reached through that organization. If that is accurate, then expect most cruise lines to be following the same patterns, or close to them CLIA's mission statement is "Our team is proud to provide a unified voice for the global cruise community, which offers travelers the best way to experience the world by supporting policies and practices to advance a safe, secure, healthy and sustainable cruise ship environment and promoting positive travel experiences for the nearly 30 million passengers who cruise annually." https://cruising.org/en/about-the-industry/about-clia/leadership

Is Carnival Allowing Saving Deck Chairs Now?
Bevv replied to JT1962's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines

The highest I saw a few weeks ago was 45, last time I watched it was 24 when I stopped counting,

Thanks for your first hand experience. Hope your recovery goes well. From watching the Galveston webcam, the disembarkation process for the Vista is different. The covid positive passengers disembark first ... so around 7am ... using the gangway on deck one...and are directed from the ship and through the area that porters handle luggage. The Staff does bring out the luggage on luggage carts.
