  1. And, here is another door. There are usually pics of doors in Workd Cruise threads too.
  2. No, I’m not saying that. And, I didn’t mean to imply the same as I have absolutely no idea what happens to the money you’ve already paid for air since we never use SS Air. This is why I was asking if it really was a business air credit you cited. And, now I know it wasn’t, because it was a fee you paid. As such, I have no idea what happens if you refuse to take any of the flights offered by SS and chose to make your own flight arrangements. My assumption is that at a minimum what you already paid would be refunded. But, I have no idea if they would also refund you an additional $750pp air credit.
  3. Thx. Now I understand that you paid for the business class upgrade. It wasn’t included in the cruise fare as I assumed previously. What many SS passengers do that don’t use SS Air is take the air credit. So, rather than paying $1,598/pp for the air upgrade, they take a $750/pp air credit directly off their invoice.
  4. Never sailed with him, but he seemed to be beloved by all that had. So, what did your email message say? I have yet to read from anyone who has been impressed with Crystal’s new prices relative to the proposed product & services.
  5. Are you sure it’s a business air credit if you don’t take their flights? If so, which voyage? The reason I ask is because I have only seen free economy flights on voyages for the next two years with paid upgrades available.
  6. Yes, that is what one does. Absolutely!
  7. This is very short-sighted by SS. You are spending six figures, and then add on a five figure voyage at the most expensive time of year, and SS says no. Awful. Just awful.
  8. He answered your question in his trip report. Now, about that €20.50, drron…
  9. This tickled Silver Queen‘s funny bone when I shared it with her. Wait, what? 20” in a day? That amount would be 50% higher than the entire annual precipitation we receive here between rain & snow. 20” in 24-hours would literally be an ecological disaster here.
  10. That sounds like fun! I would have enjoyed such an event. I also liked when SS had a standing policy of 20% off all Connoisseur wine list bottles if you purchased a minimum of three bottles on any given voyage. THAT deal was a no brainer to this wine nut.
  11. As a collector, I agree with those who say leave your bottles at home. There are plenty of options available on any SS voyage. And, being a cruise line whose heritage was Italian before the RCL purchase, the Italian reds always offer the best value, overall.
  12. I thought Clear only operated in the Pre-Check line, regardless of airport, since a standard line would defeat its purpose.
  13. I’m with Mysty, which one won and what tonic did you pair it with?
  14. Did someone call for orneriness? That’s my unofficial middle name! During your recent absence, I did write an Easter poem titled, “There’s a Devil in the Garden”. Unfortunately, my Angel whisperer and G&T Master convinced me it was too rich for the Cooler. 😁
  15. Once Easter week ends in Athens, things will return to normal for you.
  16. Thx for the reco Que. I wasn’t sure if I’d like that show from the previews. So, it’s nice too see it recommended first hand.
  17. Not current, but a good representation of what you can expect.
  18. Harder than the 2nd hardest job in the world;
  19. I think it was Lois who introduced us to “Searching for Italy” on CNN. They have a new show, hosted by Eva Longoria, for those who would like to learn more about the cuisine of Mexico and is titled; Searching For Mexico.
