  1. I agree with Spins! This will become a project next fall for me. Please send over the construction drawings as I have enough to make four bird houses. I can hardly wait to hear how many Que can make!
  2. I agree with Lois. SS does have a formal night on Alaskan voyages, but on 7 day sailings formal night is always optional; guests may choose to dress informal, a jacket is required for gentlemen.
  3. Yes, when you embark each day will be listed in your suite. Men? Not necessarily. In my experience on an informal night in La Dame, most will be found sans tie.
  4. Holy crap! Thatโ€™s all I need to hear. Cuts right through the flowery prose.
  5. I must admit as I wrote that comment that the first line of Sir Mix-a-Lotโ€˜s song โ€œBaby Got Backโ€ did pop into my mind. ๐Ÿ˜†
  6. Thx. I appreciate your perspective. To my eye, the thing I struggle with is that she looks out of balance. As you noted, asymmetrical. With the extra width she has just makes her a bit lumpy in the rear. And, when paired with her sun glasses upfront, everything just seems a bit over the top. ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™m just whining. Nothing that will keep me from booking a voyage on her. I imagine sheโ€™ll be a great ship.
  7. She looks huge for a SS ship and a bit discombobulated too.
  8. Let's be careful using my namesake as an excuse for anything. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  9. Cloud will replace Explorer next year.
  10. I prefer my Yellowtail with a little wasabi in Kaiseki.
  11. Looks like a much more interesting space compared to the Muse. I like that they have what appears to be a sushi bar.
  12. The Whisper is smaller than the Muse and having been on it in rough seas, I wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again. With that said, if the itineraries are equal, then I'd select the Muse merely because of the extra dining venues.
  13. Okay you three, I've got to clean the coffee off the computer screen I spit all over! ๐Ÿ˜€ Tough crowd sending you lots of love Dr. Ron.
  14. Yes. And, yes, always was taken care of on the ship.
  15. Sounds like a challenge! ๐Ÿ˜ Funny, I would have never assumed this is what a baker and a closet champagne drunkard looked like.
  16. Reminds me of a river cruise when you literally walk through other ships tied up next to you in order to reach shore.
  17. As you read the posts in this forum, just look at peopleโ€™s signatures. Some provide their email addresses for the very reason you asked about.
  18. Seconded, Rojann. Although, I am glad itโ€™s just a crappy cold and not a broken arm or some other much worse injury. ๐Ÿ˜‰
