  1. Yes, most of the time. We've had several where we tapped out, given new cards, tapped back in. Usually done in a lounge. Depends on immigration officers. You can leave earlier. In that case speak with GS the day or 2 before to make arrangements to get intransit card and new seapass card.
  2. No selfie needed. The reason to checkin early is to get an early boarding. Once you get that done you can do the rest later. Will need passport fo the rest of the checkin.
  3. No, not required to eat and no charge to store luggage. Can pu taxi to airport on the corner 1/2 block from restaurant. Never a problem.
  4. Yes you can get off and go anywhere. We do b2b and just send some dirty clothes to be washed. No special place for breakfast but often lunch in the mdr. You'll get a letter a couple of days in advance with instructions. If you get off you'll get an intransit pass to be able to get back on, though not sure on timing.
  5. Btw last time we flew from SJU we went straight to the airport but couldn't checkin until 4 hrs before flt. No chairs left to sit on. Sat on window ledge. Usually we head to old san juan, check our luggage for free at Barrachina's, then wander around. Not sure why we didn't this time.
  6. Not taking that with us! My concern is flying home.
  7. Understand but still want some options. The bags of wine would go in checked luggage if we're flying. Don't worry about wine in carryon if we're driving.
  8. I know this is somewhere in this board but can't find it. We will be on a couple of cruises, b2b, and as D+ we get free wine in our cabin. Figured we might have some left over. The last time this happened we were driving home. The next time this might happen we'll be flying home. I know there are bags to buy that we can put bottles into in our checked luggage and the wine won't leak or break. I know people have mentioned specific brands of bags they've bought that have worked. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.
  9. Sorry you got sick. If you look at your confirmation it clearly states what money, if any, gets refunded when you cancel a cruise. The fcc was yours until you used it to pay for the cruise, then it became Royal's, as if you used cash to pay. Sorry.
  10. Good for 10 years. If you don't have one and need to fly home in an emergency you have a problem.
  11. That's what I usually do. It was great when I checked in for the Anthem for the wb ta when she was in Southampton. Midnight Southampton was 6 pm cdt in Nashville. So nice.
  12. Do it now unless she needs it for something soon.
  13. Problem is that often it isn't legal at the ports the ship visits. It's often illegal under US federal law. Could be a problem when flying.
  14. We were on Radiance in October, she's a sister ship. Traditional dining was on deck 5. My time was on deck 4. They are flexible with this depending upon how many people are in each setting.
  15. Just guessing but maybe a skater is unable to perform and no sub is available.
  16. You have full access to everything open on the ship, i.e., pool, bar, food, and your cabin if you want to stay there.
  17. Yes! The same with passengers who don't think they have to clear immigration at 1st US port because they're not getting off or those who think they can skip muster, even the new one.
