It may be that you're not cruising until November. I can access dining reservations on January itinerary, but get "cannot load content" message for May itinerary. Edit to add - looks like that just occurred to you, too. 😁

I was able to look at SD on Sapphire in January and Sterling Grill is $39 and Sabatini's $35.

I'm finding that trying to access the OceanReady Checklist is pretty consistently causing my Session Timeout. (Apple version of the app.)

I found our DMW reservations - under View & Reserve Dining, clicked on Reserve Dining and then i the upper right-hand corner there is an icon that looks like a calendar with a heart on it and clicking on that brings up our same-day cruise-long reservation. I have not done SD, so can't haven't got any suggestions for that.

Ditto. I'm trying to check it out kept getting signed out because my session has expired. As I'm actively using it. I was able to get as far as 1) seeing only my upcoming cruise listed, and none of the ones booked for after that 2) loyalty color is blue 3) no obvious way to look at travel companions, which I was trying to do given previous issues with DH's numerous doppelgangers

Unlike @dides, my Apple device did not prompt me to download the new version, so thank you @Morrocco for posting that it was available. I stumbled onto it only when I did a search for "Princess Travel" after not finding it using other search terms. Thank you!

There should be a welcome aboard letter similar to this one with your embarkation paperwork with those details. Apparently, they have decided to do away with the themes, so all of the previously-themed drinks and a wider selection of delectable delights are available every evening. HTH!

I don't think the pricing could/should be comparable, just pointing out that the numbers reflect a significant difference. I'm quite happy to pay upcharges for wine as well as specialty dining as part of being on a Princess cruise. 😉

I have found that if it's the same ship, both (or more) itineraries should show up on the app under the first cruise even if you're changing rooms. You can verify this by opening the first cruise on the app and under JourneyView look at the JourneyView Activities Timeline. Depending upon how far out your cruise is, that may not yet be populated with activities, but the dates across the top there should include the whole time you'll be on the ship. That said, this is with the current Princess Medallion app - once the new one gets rolled out, this may or may not still be the case. 🥴 Edited to add: Another check point in the current app would be under Choose your Medallion wearable. If you have already ordered your Medallion for the cruise(s) you're looking for, under Order History there should be a box with all of the booking #'s the Medallion will be associated with. HTH!

I keep wrestling in my own mind with this very issue, and my concern is how does this impact the human being providing service to me? I've come to the conclusion that I would rather continue with my SD tipping policy and have that person perhaps get an extra bump rather than having them short-changed because of the games Princess is playing. But that's me.

We were booked for an Alaska cruisetour on the Pacific Princess in September of 2020, so I don't think the original plan was to sell after that WC. The pandemic seemed to accelerate plans to sell a couple of different ships earlier than scheduled, the Pacific and the Sun specifically.

After the long months (years) of hearing, "well, it's not supposed to work that way" when I've shown my glitches to the various Ocean Navigators, I figure I'm about due to be the one telling them that! 😆

Was anybody here asked to be a beta tester for the new version?

I can't give you a definitive answer to that, but based on the fact that you can currently book a cruise on the Island embarking on September 8 of 2025, it doesn't appear as though your December 2024 cruise would be in jeopardy. However, stranger things have happened and who knows what corporate will decide in another 12 months. 🥴

@gypwoo and @Cruise Raider - Unless this has changed in the past six weeks, my most recent Princess cruise was booked through Costco and was ineligible to bid for an upgrade because my “travel agent does not participate in the upgrade program.” 😕

We are doing a back-to-back on the Sun Princess in September and only the second leg shows up in the app. I know from experience that trying to add the booking within the app is still problematic, so as long as I can see it in my online account, I know that there's no point stressing about it. Just by way of curiosity, did you try using the Web Version of the app? That does allow me to access the booking that way. HTH!

I am beyond frustrated with this app and do everything I can to avoid having to use it more than the initial attempt after completing a booking. I get as far with that as the app will allow me to and then I'm done. I honestly only accessed it this morning after reading your comments about the issues with the latest Android update because I fully expected to be reporting that the Apple version was similarly completely broken, and admit I was surprised to be able to get as far as seeing my future bookings. Two of them are still bollixed up however so obviously those weren't bugs fixed in the latest update. 🙄

Thanks. I just hadn't seen any comments relative to how the update might have affected Apple products, so thought I'd weigh in to say that it seems to be specific to the Android update. 😉

"Works" on Apple iPhone 13 Pro - at least I can navigate to the point of seeing the bugs that continue to plague my upcoming reservations still haven't been quashed. 🥴 Edit to add: version 4.14 (108702)

Just be aware that there is no automatic notification to your fellow guest that a message has been sent - they will only see your message by checking their app.

One found me on the Sapphire Princess in August, and as Melba, Denise, Rodney and Amanda were foresighted enough to include his passport attached to him, he's able to accompany me on my next international trip to... hopefully to be found by someone who does do Facebook to report where in the world he now is in 2024! 🤭
