  1. With the Classic Package you can get Premium Coffees Classic is on the left and Prmium on the right
  2. Just put this out there. How much is too much? If he really wants to go and it's within your reach to put him there just do it. We never know how much time any of us has.
  3. On the Classic I think it was an upcharge. But unless that is all you are drinking it may not be worth going to Premium
  4. It's all there - comparison of Classic vs Premium
  5. Great point. Also, does it make sense that the poster shows their age as 30s but has an adult autistic child? Not sure how much of the review is factual
  6. Thanks for the tip - looks like a great way to check the price as well
  7. Here is the edit to my post for Anchoring not Docking in George Tow
  8. I will correct my post, anchored in GC - Hope this makes you happy Geesh
  9. I already did email the GC port authority with no response 🙂
  10. I did read the post and I was on that sailing and experienced people 4 and 5 deep all around the bar. As I said in my post #204 there were many passengers still on board. You weren't there and belittling cw2go who understood the conditions were NOT the same as what happened on the January 12th sailing of the Equinox. Nowhere near the same. They told us waitstaff would bring drinks which one did and one refused. DH went and found the beverage manager who straightened that out. They did find one helpful idea which was to bring out a cooler cart full of beer, soft drinks and waters and he just took down room numbers on a piece of cardboard to charge to the people later. The latest cruise has been fortunate in that they docked at George Town where passengers had a choice. We were at Spotts Bay, which has a Parking Lot, period. That and the fact that all excursions dealing with water - snorkelling, stingray city, etc were cancelled. Only land tours were still operating. Therefore the ship was crowded - This was NOT THE SAME EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER
  11. Simple answer because there are many other venues to get served as well as waiters taking orders and roaming with drinks to serve.
  12. And fortunately you are docked at Georgetown - Are any of the other venues serving alcohol?
  13. Obviously you weren't on the ship. And this was not a typical port day - GC is a tendered port and we did not dock at George Town so once tendered in there was literally a parking lot with the buses for the tours and I think a few cabs. There were about 5 vendors set up. All of the snorkeling, stingray city and water related tours were cancelled. So more than half I would say were still on the ship. At lunch as has been mentioned some of us like to enjoy a beer, wine or cocktail. There were 4 bartenders to take care of everyone left onboard and as people came back from their excursions it got worse. People were shoulder to shoulder 4 or 5 deep on the horseshoe shaped bar. As I said obviously you weren't ther.
  14. It's something like secnd Al Bacio on Equinox at the entrance to the OV Cafe. If open were they and Cafe al Bacio serving alcohol.
  15. I will add one tour company not to use as they were somewhat deceptive. We booked through Shekhinah tours for a North/South tour for our group of 6. This is what their website shows as well as our invoice. During my chat online and in our emails it was never mentioned that in a van of 7 they would add someone. It made the van crowded. Upon emailing the manager on our return she is steadfast that it was never just us. While the individual was nice the guys were going to rotate seats. Once he got to the front he wouldn't move. Just a heads up and IMO book the Golf carts or anything else. (The golf carts were sold out 5 months in advance)
  16. We are doing a Norwegian Fjords cruise out of Amsterdam in early May. I understand it is going to be chilly both in Amsterdam and in the ports. However, from someone who has been on one of these, do the ships tend to be chilly as well. I get chilled somewhat easily and wondering how much warm clothes to pack. Will I need multiple layers on the ship? We live in Florida and I am trying to shop online while I can get some cold weather clothing on sale but don't want to go overboard (LOL)
  17. I understand there was one post about a Costa ship and a couple of other X ships however on FB this last week, the Apex had more than one bar open as did Princess ships. So if you are implying that it isn't just one ship that does seem to be the case if they are still restricted on the Equinox.
  18. Update - so I did get a response from an Executive Representative. They said it was a government regulation and can not speak to what is happening on other ships. The rep agreed that it was strange that one and only one bar would be allowed to open. She also stated that these regulations come from the island sometimes last minute etc. Basically I know no more than what we have speculated. I have to quit wasting my time trying to be informed if I want to avoid GC or Celebrity.
  19. Thank you for the information - I have emailed him.
  20. Legal please it is a charge just like any other - you use the service you are charged. You do know that most cruise ships do not fly under a US flag for a reason 🙂
  21. So we are booked for 5/7 cruise on the Apex. As soon as they were available we booked flights thru Flights By Celebrity. I am now trying to get transfers and I am getting a message that we can't book them since our flight is at 12:40 pm and it has to be after 1:00 pm. Since I have called and gotten nowhere I decided to email to the email address on the FBC page - see below. I got this response from them "Thank you for contacting Celebrity Cruises International Groups Request inbox. The booking number provided in your email is being handled by our North America/Canada reservations team. This inbox is reserved for International inquiries." So I decided to check the FBC page again. Note the hours of operation: 8 am to 5 pm IST - India Standard Time. Not sure if they are just providing information for Europe since this is a European Cruise but really I need to call them in the middle of the night?? Guess I have to call the Sales number. Taking a vacation should not be this difficult.🙃
  22. Well this post has nothing to do with Bonaire. I did comment on a post about Puerto Plata being shown on Feb 9, Mar 9 and April 6th sailings instead of Grand Cayman. Here is what showed yesterday Today it is back to GC. So who knows! Update it appears only the Feb 9th itinerary was changed even though they are all listed together.
