I am not sure about Caribbean but for Europe cruises Celebrity very often has better offers (and more choice).

Celebrity often has better rates for solo travellers than Royal and they have single edge veranda rooms on Edge class ships. Look e.g. into Ascent in June 2025.

If I am at an all inclusive hotel with self-service buffet for all meals (which is comparable to Royal with Windjammer for at least breakfest and lunch) a few Dollar max. but for sure not that much. If you avoid MDR for dinner in the last years due to the uninspiring new menues and use speciality dining you have to pay tip on top anyway. Room service has been reduced by 50% and tips have been increased by 50%, that is simply 100% more for the same service…

MSC Bellisima is bigger in tonnage but much shorter than Quantum which makes her suitable for many ports Quantum class can not go to.

Info comes always from local Royal Customer Service so maybe Royal UK has not handled it properly compared to Royal US and Royal in Central Europe.

I have a different question about Serenade: Is this space on deck 12 port side aft with the sport equipment or whatever in use again? It has been just kind of a storrage space for years but could be a nice spot for something better!

I really don‘t understand this voting. They ask just the people on the ship but not other affected cruisers on the later sailings. So the full World cruisers decide about the faith of other people‘s cruise and also about the financial impact for Royal (more cancellations will cost them more)

They can only offer to stay with Serenade for same prize if the new cruise would be somehow similar in length. Do you want to board somewhere in Africa instead of Athens? You can of course ask Royal.
