Oceania has eliminated testing requirement after Aug 1. Princess has not saidcanything yet.

I learned my lesson. Don't cancel a credit card you charged a cruise on until after the cruise.

Travel agent called them. Money now posted in my onboard account

I called and got it done. Actually the girl I spoke to said by buying the two more excursions the rest would be discounted. So I did that but only $400 was then due to AE so i added $400 on board credit to make the $800. The excursions have posted but not the onboard credit. Perhaps this will take a while longer, maybe until Th credit charge goes from pending to charged. Anyone bought on board credit who might know how long it takes to post?

They added mine for oct 1 cruise. As usual, it depends who is processing it.

I have a great travel agent. Over 25 cruises. Never booked on my own. She always points something out I would have missed

I found a way to stop it from using onboard credit. But it refuses to let my wife pick a different excursion than me if they occur at the same time. Says “Available” but wont book. I guess I will call tomorrow

Was going to use The American express rebate deal. Two problems. wife wants one excursion in same port I want a different one. It wont let me do it and wont move the second one in to the cart second problem. It wants to use onboard credit instead of letting me use American express card. must I call or is there a way around this.

So if you pay through a travel agent it would not count? My amex Amazon card has the option but not the Hilton Card. Too bad I already paid final pay and booked excursions. There are a few ports I did not book excursions. It might now be worth it

Why. It doesn't really protect you after six months. If you have had boosters you should have no problem. Its like the flu vaccine. You need it more than once in your lifetime.

Mostly connecting-flights , not direct. They like Turkish Air. Check their safety record. No thanks.

22 Cruises on Princess. Took Celebrity to Alaska. Was wonderful.Better food, better service and better itinarys. More port days. Princess seems to have taken away port daysvto save money. Plus the elimination of fixed dining was the final straw.. not even mentioning no chair to sit on in standard balcony cabins. Somehow X gets a sofa in those rooms! Booked on Oceania in Sept. anxious to see how that is. we do miss the formal nights b

Viator is a good option. You do not have to pay until three days before tour. Also less people thanbships tours
