The whites were good. Did not lime the reds. There is a french syrah for $8 that is pretty good.

The wine list prices are very reasonable. Plus they do not add a gratuity like some cruise lines. The best deal is the Roederer crystal champagne for $160.00. It is double that at Total wines in my area. They have Tattinger for $85 which is only about 50% higher than here. the white wines by the glass were decent. I did not care for the red, although for $8.00 there is a nice French Syrah and a Spanish Tempranillo . We would never buy the beverage package as we don't drink hard liquor. they have Silver Oak, Duckhorn Merlot and Rombauer Chardonay along with Montellena. there is no gratuity added.

I am 15 minutes from SFO. Cab drivers hate it.

I emailed them. Cant book more than a year in advance, in any event. But looks very nice. Started a toll call, fyi.

Shower seems open to room with no doir. Curious if there is a door you can close to the toilet. Some hotels are leaving this open

Is that near the port?

Cruise in New Zealand in 2025. Arriving about 9 am. Lv sfo 10:45 pm night before. Did a search and could not find anything nice near the airport. Marriott 10 mikes away. Is it better to stay near the portL probably going in 2 days early . I know its far off but trying to get ideas. Flying business so we will get some sleep..

Used Viking air-in business. $4500 per person. Klm sfo to bergen with stop in Amsterdam. Return British air lhr to sfo non stop. Great flights. Travel agent had viking pay when we booked 4 months in advance. Seats assigned at that time. Nothing changed. Same flights same seats. Did we pay a little more? Maybe service was worth it.

My favorite excursion on this cruise was Journey to the Polar Park. Great weather and the experience with seeing bears 5 feet from the fence waving was amazing. Consider this. Guides were excellent. They have a web site. disembarkation was great. Had Viking transfers Heathrow. Took an hour and a half. Flight was 4 hours late but Business Class was a real help .

Northern lights visible from the ship and all the night excursions. weather great except today in North Sea. soups phenomenal. Cesar salad good. Deserts still poor . Breakfast pastries good one day and bad the next. Better on Oceania.

I don't understand why you would be upset about suites getting first shot at excursions, Oceania gives free laundry based on your cabin class. Most Airlines board by class and loyalty and so on. maybe because I have never been in a cruise line that does this. Oceania doesn’t. They were the last cruise we took.

Lab at cake was good cakes in Mandan’s are real cakes and better than the restaurant. Ice cream is good

Weather great in Norway. Food good. A little better than Oceania for fish. Deserts are small and not very good. Little rectangular pieces of cake . Wines included are pretty good,especially the white all our tours are at 3:30. Not happy with the system allowing suites to book all the good times. Freezing at 3:30 and gets back too late. Beware .
