At some point they come to the realization that some cabins wont be sold so they can upgrade guarantees there or offer a reduced price . I did hear about an $800 offer from v2 to penthouse some years ago, although I don't expect that would happen today as ships are booked pretty full. we are on March 20 , 2023;Northern lights. Still many cabins available. March 8 sold out. So maybe in two weeks something happens I expect we will get v2 or maybe a DV.

Cliquot the biggest rip off. They do barely enough to be called champagne. Anything else is better.

In reading prior years posts, not much. Some report A class at 5 pm or sometimes Zumba in the am in the gym. I am a gym person but stay away on cruises so I am of no help.

First time i used cruise line air for March 20 trip. Got frustrated spending hours trying to use United mikes fir business class. Terrible cust service. Anyway travel agent got us Business on klm for about $4500 each.

I-would not worry about getting off. Tour operator will wait. Small ship. Likely easy off.

It sure looked like it in the specialty .mediteranian sea bass in dining room.

Key west does not want cruise ships. I would go with Cozumel.

Food on The Sirena last October was great in the dining room but poor in the specialty restaurants.

I have yet to have a decent omelette on a cruise ship.

What are the things not to order? How is the ham and cheese omelet? Is it a true omelet cooked in a pan or done on the grill? I usually would just order a chocolate croissant and a bowl of strawberries. If I write in Strawberries, will I get it? Oceana did it. Princess used to.

Took about a minute. They used photos we had and resized them. No copies of passports required.Princess check in was a nightmare compared.

The new Coke Zero is terrible. I switched to pepsi max. Similar to old coke zero. As much as I can tell most people like the new coke zero.

We would cruise Cunard for the dress up experience. Are people still dressing up or is it like everywhere else now?

I avoid wine cruise tours. They are never good.

Heres the thing. We love formal nights and fixed dining. Both gone from most cruiselines. They have funneled everyone into anytime on the mega ships because they could not serve everyone in two seatings . Some demand, I suppose.if the food gets dumbed down along with the service then Ill stop cruising . Yes,the ports are important but I need the rest. it will be interesting to see if the dumbed down cruiselines get the bookings in 2024 as they are getting this year do to pent up demand. Seasoned cruisers and first timers may say enough.some want a party ship they choose Carnival or mega BpNorwegian ships. Not everyone wants that.

Given that, I wont try Holland. Will stick with Oceania and maybe Viking if my March cruise goes ok.
