If I go to a tiny village pub or a big town centre venue then the latter is most likely to have some sort of policing /security nearby . Of course the tiny pub could have trouble. Thankfully it's not an everyday problem on P&O as some testify they have never seen any trouble but when it does arise lets hope for appropriate action . You make a good point with the so called parenting and child control of some ,which again could lead to friction . This again could happen anywhere not just on a ship ,so what's the answer to it ?

Thinking about this problem away from ships for a moment reminds me of a guy i know. He took redundancy from his job and bought a pub that struggled and he came up with the idea "£10 and sup what you want ." This really took off and was a success bringing punters in from all walks of life with very little problems . Now he went on to buy adjoining buildings out and became big . With being big came bigger problems ,drunken fights , bouncers for crowd control . People getting barred were those "type of people" from well to do backgrounds and the not so well to do back grounds . The problems started when he went bigger and a party pub . Bigger the ship, bigger the crowd , throw in a cheap price more chance of a problem. Nowt to do with if your rich or poor, young or old , it's how you are brought up.

Reading the above I think it's fair to say it's not just P&O or a British problem . What I would like to see is all cruise lines working together to stamp this behaviour out and if your banned from one fleet , then from all others . This guy makes some sense with what's happening.

You could always get your movie collection out (No not them sort ) Retirements ok you soon get used to it .. A bit like working from home but without the work 🙂 An old guy in the next village is a bit of a serial flasher, said he was going to retire. But he's now decided to stick it out for another year.🙃😉

I did a similar thing only I let my mind imagine a disgusting being who smelt putrid and was really nasty and thought that he owned me . Now if Jane was to do the same and think about all these poor souls she must have met in her time in the NHS. He is laughing at her telling her she has no chance, he owns her. He wants Jane to suffer as she see's the pain in her Grand daughter's face when she see's her ill . Just a matter of time he laughs ! What are you going to do about it ? Same as we did Graham point out we don't need him anymore .

My target by the cardio nurse is 135/75 but I am doing far better than that .

Sorry missed you post until now . Absolutely ! Not worried at all and have been taught by my cardio nurse what's good and bad with my HF . I can average systolic numbers ranging from 115 to 128 which are very good for me. The annoying part I was trying to get across is, I would have been well within that range before miss Lancerlot started on me and if she had done BP before then I would not be logging my readings for the next seven days . Glad to see yours is doing well for your age 🙂

Go for it Sue , it isn't like you have not informed "a manager" of your problems causing you stress and lack of sleep . As we used to advise ,your just a number and the cogs keep turning without you or the manager come to that . Do what's right for you .

Forgot to say after all that jabbing and stabbing for over ten minutes . She then said " Oh lets check your blood pressure " Which was 144/84 I wonder why ? 🤔 Now told it's higher than usual and will I fill in a BP form for next few days . This mornings reading is a very nice 117/74 🙂 and my H beat 59 and my oxygen is 97% Which proves I'm happier on here with you lot than being spiked to hell .

I think it's good to see the health service being pro active/preventative, reading the press you sadly never hear of this, as it does not sell papers . Yesterday I received a letter inviting me for a free lung check from a program the NHS is running . They also had posters all over the doctors surgery about this . It's aimed at smokers/ex smokers aged 55-74 .I fall into the latter group gave up many years ago but thank you NHS for doing this, in what is busy and difficult times for them .
