Just like in real life people get a bee in their bonnet and an axe to grind and end up looking stupid and annoying to others. For example I was in a cafe last week and two of the waitresses were having a blazing row over how long a tea bag should be left in the cup. It got really nasty almost turning violent . I was shocked and asked the cafe owner "what the hells happening ?" He said to ignore as it had been brewing for ages 😉

Same here Phil and if I'm paying bills or buying over tinter-net then I use the credit card. I hardly use my debit card these days . When on holiday I use my fair FX Mastercard account which is set for over 15 countries and when back home shop with it as that gives cash back anyway . I like to keep my main bank account well away from the big wide web . As you say if it works and your happy 🙂

"Making the best experiences from cruise buffets!! " I like getting up around 5.45 am and having a cuppa when the place is deserted . Sat gazing out through the windows just you and your thoughts . Once the food opens and no one has had the chance to maul it, get a light breakfast. Very enjoyable to us anyway . Maybe later then go down to the Mdr and have breakfast which is equally enjoyable. We have gone in on an evening for things like curry night to find the place fully decorated ,with two of the women staff stood in full Indian dress, which made it a memorable occasion . To call the place a canteen is for from accurate , I have been in countless amounts of canteens .(it went with the job ) A canteen on Grimsby docks and the people who were using it ,were nothing like the buffets on a cruise ship . Just my opinion .I have read valid reasons for using MDR/buffets and the choice is yours ! I like using both but there is a time and place for everything and I must admit from what I have seen ,10am in the buffet does look hell on earth . Whichever you choose ,I hope you have an enjoyable experience with your choice .

That's what happened to us when I ended up in hospital and could not cruise, same as you referred back to the agent, then the agent telling us we are waiting for P&O to contact us . When I thought I was well enough to travel and booked direct a simple phone call to P&O sorted it in minutes. In my experience they do price match quotes as well. If for any reason you were unsure of what you require then I would say then use a TA who can help you but use a specialist, not a high street as most will not have been on a ship.

Morning 🙂 A bit of a chilly start this morning 2.c and risen to 4.c in the last hour . They say the warmer weather is due back over the weekend , hope so . Does anyone go on those sites " Movie stars , how they look now " I was a big fan of Star Wars but shocked to see this photo 😉 Off to drink gallons of water as today the NHS will attempt to get me to part with some blood again . On our last cruise a steward that was working cleaning a cabin above our balcony threw a part bucket of liquid over just missing the Mrs but wetting the balcony . I phoned reception and they sent head of house keeping who told me it was only fresh water and the steward sent his apologies to us. To us that was the matter closed but within about 15 minutes a big bunch of flowers were sent to my wife . We wanted nothing but P&O were more than decent about it .

Nowt up with that Capt , it's what you are that counts and on the bottom of my posts is a reminder to what I am .. " Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else "🙂

Morning all a very bright clear sunny 7.c here but rain this afternoon is tipped . We got plenty of rain with the thunderstorms yesterday . Those pictures of the Punch & Judy stands take me back a few years to all the fun of the fair that used to come and visit us .

Morning all, dry and 10.c and overcast at the moment . We have got a little Yorkie that's cute but sadly need to rehome him as no matter what we do he keeps barking all the time . He goes by the name of Rex and is about 8 month old ,so if you think you could give him a home, let me know and I'll jump over the neighbours fence and grab him for you .😉 Just fancied something light to eat this morning so I settled for egg on toast .
