Hi we are thinking of trying Viking for our next cruise. We usually cruise with Celebrity in a standard balcony cabin. We're not really late night party people but like good food, a glass or two of wine and maybe a cocktail. How does Viking compare in terms of included food and evening entertainment? I am aware that there are included excursions but as most of these seem to be walking tours I don't think we'll get much value from these as I have some mobility problems. The decor of the ships and the destinations appeals but quite a bit more expensive.

If there is no longer any requirement to test will Celebrity refund your cruise fare pro rata if you are tested positive by the medical staff?

Intercruises advertise that they provide transfers for P&O, Cunard and Princess. Not Celebrity unfortunately.

Hi just found out that Eavesway are no longer doing coach transfers from South Wales for next year. Does anyone know of an alternative coach transfer service to Celebrity Silhouette next June?

Really hoping that the quarantine requirement to move cabin is changed by next June. Agree with the need for it but not if we are moved to an outside cabin. Will cancel if that's the case.

Are positive covid cases being moved or are they allowed to remain in their cabin?

I get military discount but have never seen a tick box. I have to call X to book. Is this new or only for US bookings ? I'm in the UK.

Would this be the same for Silhouette? We are going to be on next June with my mum who has mobility issues. Hope so . It would be great for her to access the pool.

We've got a cruise booked for 17 June 2023. I seem to recall that on past cruises that I was able to access the App to look for shore excursions and dining straight away. All I'm seeing is "We are working on the fun, check back soon". I've tried reinstalling the App, no difference. When is it typically available?

They will be in a standard balcony so there will be no tub to worry about. We will mostly be with them to fetch and carry etc but wanted them to feel independent of us rather than reliant on us. I forgot about the tenders, I will have to choose an itinerary carefully. Hopefully they will be able to use the disabled seating area at the back of the theatre rather than going down the steps to the seating.

Hi we are planning to take my elderly in-laws on a cruise next summer from Southampton. Previously they have sailed on RCCL and although they don't use wheelchairs my mum in particular has mobility problems. She needs help with carrying plates and trays in the buffet and cannot do stairs at all. Has anyone had experience of Celebrity with mobility problems and how easy was it to find the help you need particularly in the current covid climate?

Hi does Celebrity do discount for ex military? I am coming up to retirement.

We were originally going to be on the pasta factory trip. We never got to do the cruise in the end but I did query the fact that the excursion was on a Sunday but in the t&C's X clearly stated that the factory was not open on Sundays. Never got an answer despite many emails and hours on hold. This was way back in February. Surprise surprise!

Shame as. I love the martini bar but am such a lightweight I thought the classic package would work for me. 🤣

They sent me an email about my upcoming cruise and told me I had £450 OBC. Problem is that I cancelled that cruise months ago and never paid the balance. I wonder what the response would have been had I turned up! 🤣
