  1. What were they attached to and how? I would imagine a good gust of wind could have made a catastrophe out of that.
  2. Sad that this "issue" ever comes up at all. Paying passengers should not have to sleep on a makeshift bed.
  3. I packed and used flat foam pool floats, about 18 inches long and 12 inches wide. They were about two inches thick. We used them in the pool, and at the beaches at the ports. No one said a word, but they were not intrusive to other passengers.
  4. I think this will be disappointing and hazardous for alot of people.
  5. I have seen paper, and plastic leis stuck to the door. Not saying these would be the cause of a fire, but they certainly would burn if there was a fire.
  6. I am sure we are in the minority, but I agree with you. I think they can be on the tacky side, and no one can argue with the fact that they could be a fire hazard.
  7. What a joke, Princess must be laughing their heads off at the passengers that think this is a "Premium Dessert"
  8. So many here really seem to enjoy saying that.
  9. Sorry, I misunderstood. Thank you for clarifying. And, hope you are feeling fit very soon!
  10. I assume you are getting the Paxlovid on board? They are OK then, for you to eat in the dining room?
  11. I must agree with you. I was so against buying a Kindle, always wanted a real book. Then arthritis got so bad in my hands it was impossible to read for more than half an hour. I guess I am like many others who have "seen the light". I adore my Kindle, have nearly 100 books so far. I love that I can have a book that I want within a few minutes. I havent bought a real book in ages, and have been thinking of dragging the ones I do have to half price books. I doubt I will ever give up the Kindle now.
  12. False? Looking at the photo provided it does not look like an abundance of books on the shelves.
  13. Are these olives traditionally stuffed with pimento, or something different?
  14. Really, till 6am? What on earth is going on in the piazza till 6am in the morning? Curious.
  15. This is nothing new with Princess. They have never enforced their own recommendations, in the MDR, or the pool area. Every now and then you will have someone turned away in the MDR, but that is only on occasion, depending on the dining room manager.
  16. To be fair, ALL of the cruiselines have cut back on a lot of things.
  17. You can have pizza at Slice on the Lido deck free all day, any day. Alfredos the the 2x casual dining for pizza.
  18. When you have to shout to be heard in the dining room, or at Customer Service, does that make it a fun evening for you? I fail to see the connection between Princess and a floating retirement home. Judging by the responses on this thread, precious few enjoy the loud consistent noise to be fun. That does not make them old fogies.
  19. Shame on anyone who flamed you. There have been many members on this board who have complained about the noise. And shame on Princess too. That kind of racket does not lend itself to a nice cruise.
  20. As others have said pizza and burgers on the lido deck are free. Not so at Alfredos or Gigis.
  21. There is most likely plenty of room to get to the balcony. I dont think I would consider putting a two year old child in an upper berth.
  22. In light of their penny pinching these days, I would be surprised if they would allow that. Has anyone actually been seated twice for dinner on the same day?
