I've meant the 5/10 (Geiranger + Flam), sorry. If possible, I'd go with the 6/28 (Bergen is also a beautiful town, and from Zeebrugge you can travel to Bruges and taste some amazing Belgian chocolate, also a very nice and scenic place), since "me thinks" May is way to early for the fjords.

May be I'm wrong, but as I understand it, the 2nd room is occupied by the parents [different names, even if the family name is the same as the OPs], so no "original" name will remain if they don't make the cruise

This ^ After 15 cruises where we booked the cabin we wanted [balcony and up], we had no choice but to book a gty -- the itinerary and the date worked well for us -- it was take it or leave it.... Deck 2.... here we come 😉

Oy... I can stand the heat, but the humidity is killing me... Hopefully you have AC. Ours is working non-stop....
