I agree! We were actually on a cruise a while back (Panorama) where in the middle of the night loud banging on our door with crew members yelling to put on life jackets. We had a hard enough time scrambling around finding the life jackets and putting them on in a half asleep stupor ..theres on way Id remember where my muster station was. It turned out to be a small fire down below us that was resolved quickly , although we weren't really told that until we were in the hallway trying to figure out what to do..

Thanks for the pictures and reviews! Looks like there was a good variety , even with some "misses". I am hoping my two vegan sons will cruise with us so this will help

We are cheap and like an adventure so take the city bus..pretty easy

Stayed on deck 1 on Panorama 3 times with these cabins. Love them!

I am a total lurker and just want to say first of all I am enjoying this review so much but also really liking the respectful exchange between Carnival/Cunard folk

Yep thats how it was for us the last few times, even though we prefer evening, No biggie really for us, we just put the snoozing sign up when we are in cabin and if we aren't there they can come at whatever time is easiest for them

All of this aside, some of my husbands offers are for just him and some are for him and a companion. If I had the same offer, we can link them so I get it as well. Id I don't , I do not technically get DOU but I can say that on our last cruise it didn't really matter because the server would bring one for me as well and put it on my husbands account. Don't come at me for "cheating " or whatever...the server offered and we took him up on it ( and tipped well) . Of course this wont work unless both of you are gambling at the same time

😞 I am not too happy about this. The 8 day is good ( have one booked) but sometimes I only want a 7 day..I don't like the 6 day itinerary since Cabo isn't my favorite and I like Mazatlan.

Have done this itinerary in Jan and Feb a few times. The first and last sea days will likely be overcast and chilly. Your days in port will be nice! ( I hate too hot...it should be warm but not humid) Give it a try!

I think she means the new regular menu , not the vegan one. The everyday salmon is gone. However, at least on the 4 day one ( which I’m on now) there is a salmon dish the first two nights

This confuses me…I’m onboard now with the new menu..I don’t see any vegan options that replaced the old menu items? or vegetarian for that matter. There has always been one vegetarian item along with the Indian option. That hasn’t changed. You may have liked the old menu more for whatever reasons , but it surely can’t be because they were replaced with vegan/ vegetarian items.

Yes, LA could be rainy and cold or warm and sunny. The ports will likely be nice...like 70s-80s. First and last sea day will likely be overcast, windy and cold. But that can be true almost any time of year for this itinerary.

yup I agree..I would never internally put a servers job at risk..its usually a " don't ask don't tell" situation ..Carnival probably doesn't even care that much as it keeps both of us in the casino

With all the interest in food you'd think someone would post pics! I never take pics of my food but when we go on the Radiance I will and promise to post if nobody has come forward yet lol.

I seem to remember elegant night as being day two on Radiance

Curious about the 4 day menus since they are usually a lil different than a straight 4 days of the 7 day menu. Guess we will find out in a couple of weeks on the Radiance.
