  1. I spent time in that area before a cruise and it would be exactly where I would pick if I would ever have the opportunity. It’s nice area and far enough away from the rat race but close enough to get to it when the will arises. Not to mention close to the ocean and to the port. I’m sure you will meet people in a short order and perhaps you can join a club for a hobby or take up something new where you meet other like minded folks. On to the next journey in life and a great one to boot!
  2. WOW that is so touching, simply beautiful! He is a very mature young man who has been through so much and still takes the thought to commend all of his support from loved ones. He must make you feel so proud.
  3. I never paid attention to how carnival tallies points. Is it one point per cruise or one point per night? Disregard found answer. I only have a few more cruises to the level above gold.
  4. Both are really good but I too prefer the first one. I have a friend who does funky things with old silverware she sells it at local fairs and trade shows. She does quite well actually.
  5. I’m too lazy to go back to original post but I’m sure you said your number to get off ship was 1 or 2 but your mom’s was 28. That doesn’t make sense if you were both in same cabin. Next time just get your cabin Steward to get you a tag to match yours. I have never been in a cabin or even two where we all didn’t get the same numbers. Your Steward should be able to fix you up.
  6. Wow, pictures made it look larger than Majesty but I miss the small ship interaction with folks. It may be worth trying out. It seemed very well kept in pictures did you find it was very outdated and old?
  7. Well I enjoyed your review thanks for sharing. So is it no drinks at pool or is it no glass? If drinks are in plastic cups or beer in a can they are still not allowed? That would kind of be a deal breaker.
  8. @Ozark_Kid happy belated birthday. So happy for you that you will be able to get to your garden. You have a great support team.
  9. Thank you. I hope you rested up some today. All those delicious desserts were I’m sure worth the 18lbs. It seems like allot consider all the steps you get in each day.
  10. Wishing you a speedy recovery @h20skibum your grandchildren are so talented it’s amazing. @Sea Dog your cruise itinerary looks amazing just wish it didn’t include Easter Sunday. I am considering it though
  11. Glad you made it to Miami. Thanks for sharing. I hope your first solo is turning out well.
  12. @akcruz Sending sincere condolences to you and your family. Bride and groom are a beautiful couple, the dress and venue are both spectacular.
  13. If he’s doing all that if I were you and you can afford it, I would just redo the whole kitchen while everything is tore apart anyway. I’m sure you will be very happy with end result.
  14. Oh wow what a terrible way to end a cruise week. Glad to hear you are both ok and safe at home. I am sure both of you will feel a little more aches and pains today. Looks like you were hit pretty hard. I hope you are taking a few days off.
  15. Jane, first wishing you all the best tomorrow. I agree with others on colour, stick to grey, I would choose Fleur de sel also. I also echo @MJSailors for suggestion of changing doors of cabinets if the cabinets are solid and straight and in good shape inside.
  16. Sorry to hear about your grandmother and her fall. Prayers for her speedy recovery. Hope you had a great time today.
  17. If you are both in same cabin would she not get it automatically?
