We have cruised on HAL, Celebrity, Royal and Azamara, and mostly in a balcony cabin. Never been on Edge class. Pricing always seemed a bit high . I love reading other cruisers opinions on cabins and the amenities offered by the various cruise lines. The Infinite Verandah has really had its lovers and haters. Now thanks to a Blue Chip comp IV , we will be trying one on the Edge in February. Im most happy when I’m anywhere on the ocean and really looking forward to the new experience the Edge will offer. Time will tell if I miss the traditional ship.

Gold1953, i believe we are on the same cruise as you, and when I do a mock select dining reservation I do not see “Terms and Conditions” anywhere in the process.

What would be the need of ordering two specialty coffees at the same time? At home , i would not make two coffes for myself or mix two alcohol drinks at the same time

If you wish the configuration of you bed changed, you can ask your stateroom attendant on day of boarding and they will be happy to do it for you. -
Its an ABC cruise. Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacou

I read the policy on your nz celebrity website but couldnt find where it only applied to u.s. residents. On the Canadian celebrity site that asdistance only shows for cruises up to April 30 2022.

Who has the Insurance. The Cruise Line or the tour operator? I ask because i assume it is not the tour operator because you can book privately with them no problem. If it is the Cruise line, why do some cruise lines not have a restriction for the same tour?
-
Yes I tried to book that tour through celebrity and because I’m 73 they wouldn’t sell to me. I work my multi acre farm, so probably walk many times what that Stroll would be on a daily basis. Dang getting old sure has its drawbacks. Lol.

Probably will announce they have corrected the issues of not being able to sign in on their website with Ipads

Virtually impossible to find a new PCC

Curious here as well. why are you in need of a PCC. I book directly with HAL as well as other lines. I call 1 800 number and deal with the one who answers the phone. I have always had great service. On two occasions I have received emails from a PCC, advising me they were assigned to me. When i spoke with them they only work days and Monday to Friday. I asked what if I need my booking serviced at night or on weekend. Response was to contact 1 800 and anyone would be happy to help me. I do all my own research and price shopping online anyway, then a quick call to do the booking. -
Sorry for this simple question about onboard dress, but . . .
retird replied to dedlaw's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Never be sorry for asking a question even if its been asked before. Thats what Forums are for. I prefer wearing light Khakis and button collared shirt or golf type shirt on chic and non chic nights. They are less bulky to pack .- 26 replies

Maybe, but many have tried other lines and may choose different lines based on Itinerary

Now pose the same question on HAL board. Would be interesting to see if responses are similar

If im booking return flights in North America, I find I get a better price by booking directly through the airline myself. However, for one way International flights i find much better prices through the cruise line air. Just my experience.

Casino offers - be sure to check the website!
retird replied to DaveOKC's topic in Holland America Line
Does HAL allow you to book a casino offer through your Pcc. On Celebrity, i just received an offer and it had to be made directly through casino consultant and all maintenance of the cruise had to be made through casino consultant or online through manage my reservation. PCC said they did not have access to maintain the booking. I much rather the idea of being able to do it through PCC, -

Formal Night returns to the Grand World Cruise!
retird replied to The-Inside-Cabin's topic in Holland America Line
Hey I understand how you feel but i am surprised to see formal wear advocates try to control how others dress. Those who choose to dress casual are not forcing others to Not dress formal. It is their choice and right to dress casual as outlined by the cruise line, just as it is your choice and right to be more dressy. I wore a formal uniform and suits all my working career. Now that I am retired, i want to relax and smell the roses. I dont expect others to attempt to control my vacations and i dont expect others to change how they spend their leisure time. Kudos to all the men and women who like to and do dress up while on vacation. But please allow me to do what I want as well. It is 2022 and we are well past the cruising days mandatory traditions of the 20th century. I can only control my own actions, i cannot, nor do I want to ,control others -
Formal Night returns to the Grand World Cruise!

I I wasn’t aware that HAL didn’t allow those who wanted to dress up , to do so on dressy evenings. Are you saying those who want to dress up , will only do so if HAL makes those cruisers who prefer to be more casual to dress up as well. Who’s desires should take precedence? The dresser uppers or the other paying guests. ?Huh?
