  1. You are correct. I was on Reflection in November and ate dinner in OVC 5 of the7 nights. I ate at different times between 6 and 7:30 pm. Each night the place was almost empty. Maybe 75 to 100 people in total. I was in there 2 or 3 evenings after early show and it was mostly staff and a few officers there
  2. You must hate farm products after all the cow manure and liquid pig manure that gets sprayed on our fields
  3. No prime rib on any night on our current menus
  4. Yes i checked Bacio and they didnt have Apple Fritters but they had many delicious, calorie conscious deserts. 😀
  5. I would call the celebrity 800 number and discuss your situation and they will give you the cost of the different options. Thats what I have done in the past. That way I get my answer right from the horses mouth as some would say
  6. I know there is concern about the food, but I’m currently on the Equinox and as a seasoned cruiser on multiple lines, rest assured you will not go hungry. Yesterday in the mdr lunch there were several salads, duck, pork, beef items as well as hot or cold soup available. Mdr dinner choices are about the same as I have experienced on past celebrity cruises. There has been veal, pork, beef and other mains as well as the always standards of salmon, chicken, steak . Tonights menu includes shrimp scampi, grilled cobia, roasted lamb, beef tournedos, stuffed portobello mushroom plus the standards. For someone who asked , grilled snapper will be served on night five. The OVC doesnt have as many selections as before, but from what I have seen , all food groups are represented. Im one to always wait to experience the whole of things for myself and not totally trust snippits of info
  7. In your cruise planner you can purchase one plan multiple devices. One person online at a time. When one signs in all others are automatically signed out. My wife and I are currently using that plan. To get my CC elite discount, i called to book the plan. Once onboard, internet tech have a desk and they will show you how the one plan, multiple user works
  8. Do you have one person two devices? If so wouldnt both have been upgraded when you upgraded yours. If you each have one person one device, then his upgrade should cost same as your upgrade.
  9. I have the premium wifi and it works great anywhere on the ship. Surfing , streaming works with no buffering.
  10. Thats not how it works. Read my post. Im currently using it this way on the Equinox. No need to sign out , it automatically does that when second goes online using the shortcut
  11. I am currently on the Equinox and i have one person one device plan on their Starlink. I open account in my name. Once i log in i create a shortcut on the homescreen of my ipad. I then signed my wife in on her ipad using my sign in username and password. Screen asked me if i wanted to switch to this device. I said yes and voilà she was signed in i then added the shortcut to her ipad homescreen After that whoever used it last just stayed signed in until the other opened their ipad and opened the shortcut at which time it asked if wanted to switch to that device. We never have to sign out as when one person uses it the other person is automatically signed out. I do this process for our two ipads and two iphones , however only one device can be signed in at a time. If i purchased one person and two or more devices all of the devices up to the max i purchased for could be signed in at sane time all using my user name and password Disclaimer: I am not that technically savvy to know how to do that on my own so on first day of cruise I took our two ipads to the internet support person and she supplied me with that information and actually did the setups for me and ensured it worked as she said it would. it works for us because we dont both need to be on the internet continuously at the same time. hope tis info is helpful
  12. On HLA and Royal and Celebrity my bags of laundry have always come back un ironed. Thats what I paid for It clearly states wash and fold . There is a different service for dry cleaning , and pressing/ ironing
  13. Currently on the Equinox. Ship is full. OVC has been excellent at breakfast, and lunch. All stations open. OVC dinner had a lot of stations closed last night, but there was a hot station of chicken, beef, etc. pizza, pasta, salad station and desserts Lots of deserts but not as many as at lunch. We ate in main dining room and lots of choices and food was excellent as was the service. No delays. Only issue I had at main dining room was that there was no separate line if you had reserved your time in advance. I asked two staff and they said if you have a time booked and you arrive at that time you must wait with all the others in line to be seated. I asked again today and was told the same thing. They informed that 6:30 to 8:00 is their busiest time. They recommended coming at 5:15 to 5:45 . I did and was seated almost immediately.
  14. Dont bother sending the form . They don't look at them until they have attended to all the call ins and by then most cabins are gone. Go through the list of available cruises they sent you. Pick a few you would like and go on celebrity website and see which veranda cabins are available that you would like on each of those cruises Call them at 1-866-461-7170 and ask if any of those cabins are available in their promo. If one is available you can book it with them at that time and pay your taxes. Thats how I do it.
  15. The new promo offered by HAL is not exactly a deal. Last week I was looking at a repositioning through the Panama Canal cruise and a balcony was $3339. Canadian per person. When i received the promo email today, I checked the same cruise and the oceanview is $5124. Canadian and you get the balcony upgrade for the same not so good price of $5124. Surely their marketing dept. must know we are not that stupid.
  16. Just call the Blue Chip Club and give them your Captains Club Number. They will take it from there
  17. My point was that below aqua, one has mdr, oceanview or specialty . Suites have lumanae, blu, mdr menu, oceanview and specialty. Although we both lose one venue, those in suites still have 4 venues compared to non suites with 2venues
  18. You are fortunate being in suites that you have choice of lumanae, blu, mdr menu and oceanview. Besides paid specialty. Most of us on here only have the mdr or oceanview option, so for us, losing one option is a big deal. Hope you understand.
  19. I believe we need clarification whether those two photos depicted the only stations in the oceanview that had food or if it was a photo of two random stations
  20. And you could ask yourself if it is for select dining, then why does the second paragraph refer to “Cover Charges”. Since specialty dining is the only dining that has a cover charge. Seems that whether a guest interprets the condition as applying to main dining or specialty dining ,depends on which paragraph they put weight on
  21. I asked on a previous cruise and it is for specialty dining. The first paragraph should be read in concert with the second paragraph
  22. With the small size of the crawfish tails , one would need a dozen
  23. Not sure about with valu trips, but we have stayed there several times and for a small fee was able to check in at 9am. For a lesser fee could check in at 12nn.
