  1. My wife and I split the duties of booking activities. I book the first half of the cruise on my phone, while she books the 2nd half on hers.
  2. Some activities are for small groups, so they will fill up sooner than say Bingo which is held in the Red Room. My wife and I split things up. I book activities for the first half of the cruise, while she books for the 2nd half.
  3. The funniest thing I've seen in years. Enjoy!
  4. With a big bar tab, and a ton of loot on our sailing this Fall as Rock Stars, I don't foresee us hoarding a bunch of drinks before they cut us off, otherwise we'd never be able to walk to dinner. 🤣
  5. Instead of just Moet Champagne being served nightly from 5-6pm each night, starting today, cocktails, wine and beer will also be available.
  6. I don't think anything is written in stone, and everything could change due to countless reasons, sea conditions, cast member's health, supply issues, equipment failures, etc.
  7. We are flying into Heathrow, taking the Elizabeth Line into London, and staying there for a few days because it's Pam's first time in the UK. Then we are taking the train from Waterloo Station to Portsmouth the day before we sail and spending the night there.
  8. It's all there, just spread out at different stations
  9. Thanks for the updated info. With DBE, MNVV, and extras loot from our TA, we've never needed to buy a tab.
  10. If you don't get any bonus for buying a $100 bar tab, you might as well just let things be. All of your bar charges will be charged to your credit card on file.
  11. She has a nice indoor table....we may even end up buying one. There's also an outdoor layout on the promenade, but I can't remember which side.
  12. No....probably still eating dinner, or singing karaoke, playing shuffleboard, etc.
  13. In 4 cruises, we've yet to make it to the PJ party. We're old farts. 🤣
  14. That CVS gets really busy on port days. Both passengers and crew load up on things. (Mostly snacks & candies)
  15. Wear whatever you want.
  16. There's a 2nd season that's only partially aired. It was filmed on the Valiant in the med, and only after a few episodes it disappeared. We have friends who were sailing as Rock Stars at the time, and they did quite a bit of filming with them. I hope they end up airing the complete 2nd season at some point.
  17. I don't think any lines give a discount to do b2b sailings. Why would they?
  18. As seasoned cruisers, our intro was this exact itinerary, but we did it as part of a back-to-back with the 5 day Dominican Daze, for a total of 9 days. I don't remember which sailing was first, but we used turnaround day to book everything that we had missed on the first sailing before everyone else boarded. We've been hooked ever since.
  19. To be safe, one should only book cabins that have cabins both above and below you. Not being able to sleep due to noise is simply not worth any savings on price.
  20. We've been to the islands many times, but we'll book them when the price is right and enjoy the empty ship while everyone's on shore. The ship, crew, and warm weather are the attractions for us.
  21. Here's a comment I read on Reddit: Salty Trivia is probably most similar to the traditional ones you will find on other cruises, while Risky Quizness is quite different and raucous! Both are fun!
  22. The Virgin website describes it this way: The Gamer compiles the best of pop culture, history, current events and beyond in a multi-round trivia event that he’s uniquely created. Each team will have a booklet to fill out for each round of 10 questions. But this isn’t your average trivia game—the highly curated, weirdly specific genres cater to the weird, the wacky and the nerdy among us—expanding beyond generations and giving you the freshest, funniest brain-twisters you can find on the open ocean (or anywhere, for that matter).
  23. If you're uptight, I'd avoid events like Bingo with the Diva, Miss Behave Show, and Salty Trivia. They can be loaded with all sorts of double entendre. As for being right-wingers or left-wingers, we never discuss politics with strangers, especially when cruising. The vibe on board tends to be all about acceptance and respect.
  24. The total charges for a cruise ship passage through the canal can be $300,000.00 or more.
  25. The travel agency just got back to me and has admitted that the itinerary was incorrect, and have corrected it to include Ibiza. They apologized for any confusion/concerns.
