The Canadian rule is one bar per deck. So if Wheelhouse and Crooners are both on deck 7 then one will be closed while in a Canadian port. Makes for some crowded bars especially on cruises where you are in Victoria till 11:00 pm

For us the charcuterie board plus veggies and truffles is more than enough for a meal even sharing it. Especially when Vines is open for lunch on sea days

I would only take a 2 night cruise if it was part of a series of cruises. We never book less than 10 days

Personally I do not like standing in lines. I can eat a late breakfast or early lunch on land and then stroll at my own pace right on to the ship. I will have many days to eat and drink on board

Except for the 500 or so passengers on b2b’s

I saw a note that the old app would go away March 8. It did not specify a year. LOL

We rarely board before 12 or 1. Don’t miss the rush and lines. We book 15-21 day cruises and will have lots of chances to have lunch

I am always amazed how people think they need to book in advance. We have been on 60 Princess cruises and have never ever had any issue with getting into the venues on the same day we decide to eat there. I have never seen any of the venues full after 7:30 or 8:00. We generally look at the dinner menu in the morning and if there is nothing that hits our fancy we get a reservation through the dine line. They never book every table in advance

We always grab a couple of bottles when we leave the casino or Crooners

We are on the RT Vancouver Hawaii trip

So what happened to Captain Tani ? He is one of our favorite captains and we are sailing on the Ruby in mid April

On port days on Grand class ships I have not seen any casual venues (Vines and Salty Dog open for lunch). We usually have lunch on shore but on those ports without good lunch options we will grab burgers on the Lido or last resort the buffet

I have never seen this on any Princess shop. Perhaps it was a trial ?

So you would give up all those suite benefits ?

If you are in a suite why do you need reservations ? On all other Princess ship suite passengers have a no wait area to eat in and we have never had to book speciality restaurants in advance they always find room for suite passengers

Put the party people in one cabin the people who don’t want to drink or eat sushi or have coffee drinks in the other. Problem solved. You know which cabin I would be in

Just bring a screenshot of your personalizer I do but have never needed it

You don’t use it to find friends, check folio, look at menus ? Those are the best functions for me
