Don’t worry too much they never reserve every table. I called the dine line and was told the only time was after 8. Went to have a pre dinner cocktail and walked up to the host and asked he seated us at 7:30 and the restaurant was not full
It will be quieter and most night life action after shows the the theatre will be music in a couple of venues and the casino. Not usually a big crowd in a disco type location unless you are on a short booze cruise
If you get there early you may be waiting. Princess reps don’t always show up early. They will have clipboards and something showing that they rep Princess
Always plug your voyage number into the online health tool to get accurate information for your cruise. They are individual and subject to change at any time. I would check often
We just took turns going to the buffet Had plenty of time to grab something and not have to settle for slices of pizza or a burger not to mention waiting in line
We always put a hold if we see a cabin we like and then email our CVP to finish on Monday. The only time I have gotten any message like you reference is when she was on holiday or on a cruise
The location of the buffet on the Ruby was great for all of us watching World Cup matches on the MUTS screen. Would not have wanted to rush down to a different deck at halftime. The app did not have enough variety of food for us
We were on the Ruby over Thanksgiving and it was the happiest crew I have seen all of 2022. I attributed this partially to the captain who was wonderful and set a great tone for the trip
Don’t panic about specialty dining. We never reserve space in advance and have always been able to talk to the manager for that restaurant and get times. They do not reserve every table at every time pre cruise They also keep tables available so they can comp them to casino guests etc.
You can buy just paper tickets and use a dauber. However the tablets have some many more tickets programmed they invariably in and takes the fun out it for casual players who don’t want to spend a fortune
The tablets have taken a lot of the fun out of bingo. Folks just sit around chatting waiting for the machine to tell them if the have won. Much more fun with cards. However much prefer the medallion or cruise card handling the slots. Hated having to wash hands and some diseases traveling with the coins
