  1. This was the first time we were seated given a menu and been asked for our order all within 3 minutes. I will guarantee you we pushed back and will continue to do so. We generally only have 3 courses including dessert and are always finished by 9:00 which is when the room closes. I did not apprecythrm changing all the tablecloths and silver to prepare for breakfast 2 full hour before closing. They need to appreciate that different people eat at different times
  2. We always travel as either a 2 or 3 person group and have never experienced a wait but we don’t insist on the exact same table and usually eat around 8:00. On one cruise the head manager tried to hurry our meal and we had to tell the assistant manager to keep him away from us. Guess who got the tip at the end of the cruise
  3. If the person with Premier orders multiple drinks and there is no one else in the cabin the bartender can see that and might question who to charge the others to. This could also trigger loss of package. You have not purchased a package of 15 drinks a day but the ability of 1 person to drink up to 15
  4. And on the Crown on our last 2 cruises on her there was a big sign outside the Reserve dining area pointing to the regular DaVinci dining room
  5. Just off of a 16 day cruise on the Ruby. No menus were repeated. I rarely see repeat dinner menus unless the cruise is also offered as a b2b
  6. Because I live cruising and avoid the buffet On sea days I tend to use the MDR and on port days I eat on shore. Cruising really has nothing to do with the buffet and zi do wish they would go back to different menus on sea days MDR
  7. Yes we have never waited more than 5 minutes but we eat around 7:30
  8. Lunch’s for others is in a different MDR
  9. It is usually in the MDR on 6 midship. On grand class facing the dining room it will be on the left
  10. That is why I used the term “MOST”
  11. Most everywhere you can legally buy cannabis you cannot smoke it in public. And no if you get caught bringing it on board you will probably be put off
  12. The Reserve class mini suites have mid ship locations and reserve class dining but no full suite perks like laundry, mini bar, Sabatini’s breakfast etc
  13. But breakfast for suites is in a dedicated room
  14. Does this ignore that one person in a cabin will pay double for cruise fare ?
  15. Like your cocktails then it is a great deal. Drink few or no drinks probably not
  16. Or the 2 parents could get plus and share a login with the kids. It just means that only one person per login can be connected at a time
  17. Yeah someone got carried away. Only Alfredo’s of those mentioned has a charge
  18. This happens with a number of companies not just cruise lines. I almost had my AAA membership canceled because my expiration date changed but the number stayed the same. I was on a cruise when I realized I hadn’t seen a charge hit my account and called once we got to a port. Just in time. Anytime you get a new or replacement card it is a good idea to keep an eye on things
  19. I am trying to figure out what you can even use the app for 2 days before sailing. Excursions and Spa appointments are generally closed at this point
  20. That is why I always care a screenshot of my travel summary. If all the credits don’t show then I let my CVP fix it
  21. If you use a CVP they can book these deals for you. It usually takes at least 10 days for the offers to show up in their systems
  22. Fees can vary wildly depending on ports to be visited and the associated port fees that the port charges
  23. Suites perks are much more than elite benefits. You automatically get Reserve dining, free specialty dining embarkation night, you will get double the mini bars, your laundry will get priority over elite. Those are are great benefits it really comes down to location (in the corridor next to the casino and lack of balcony. Your call really
  24. Well when leaving the train station in Vancouver we had to show a passport and were asked questions about how long we had been in Canada Then when the train got to the US border US customs agents came to get declarations and asked more questions
