As a non drinker, Regent doesn’t make any sense for me given the large price difference. I love Oceania and am trying the new Crystal this December.

So true. The lunch pizza in Terrace is mediocre. Waves pizza was very good. I liked the food in Ember but found it too be so loud that our party could not talk across a table.

Next next cruise is scheduled for February 2025. Prices are getting too high. Product is good but I found much of the food to be mediocre--especially the beef dishes. Tastes vary.

I moved on to Oceania and Crystal. I still have a Celebrity cruise booked but I won't book any more if they charge me for three.

I wonder if O will allow broader use of this credit as they get more and more complaints.

It all depends on how much sun you want. I always pick a north facing cabin because I don't like to sit in the sun.

I am waiting for the Icon prices to come down. It sounds like a great ship but is currently much too expensive.

I think it is more likely that some solos booked without realizing that they were charged for more than two in a cabin. Unless you are on the boards or have a good TA, the only way to know is to book as a solo and compare with what you would pay if you were booking for two. Some solos might just think that the prices had increased that much for everyone.

They have convinced some of their customers that there is no alternative to Celebrity regardless of the price. Not true.

Whoever designed the regular Sea Terrace bathrooms must not have been on a cruise ship built in the past twenty years. Although the shower is a decent size, the rest of the bathroom is much too small.

It's pretty sad when a Celebrity rep suggests lying to get around unjust corporate policies. But this conduct should NOT be rewarded with our business.

I know that some cruise lines "include" gratuities in the fare for some countries because the cruisers have historically asked to remove the gratuities from their account. Definitely true for Australia. May be true now for the UK.

I guess I am out of touch but I never understand the appeal of the sitting on lounge chairs around the pool if you have a private veranda. I only go to the pool when I am going into the hot tub and pool. After I am done, I go back to my room. To me, the pool is noisy with music and people and too public. But I am an introvert and would rather have privacy. I also don't drink alcohol which I assume adds to the appeal of sitting by the pool. But I do agree that the chair hogs on Vista are a problem.

One of the few places to get wings too. Just be sure to place several orders if you like wings--the serving is only three wings.
