  1. It was beautiful, cruising all around the Kimberley and past all the little islands. Whales, sharks, crocs, dolphins and such in the calm clear waters.
  2. You may want to book, my niece had to wait 3 months.
  3. Yes but convenience outlays setting up an account, especially for tourists.
  4. Then you will still need the transport card (Myki, Opal whatever) but by allowing a CC or DC to be used as well caters for most.
  5. It really depends on t he day and the time of day. Also finding the Uber pickup point can be a hassle.
  6. I know quite a few people who have done just that, temporary members of the SKI club especially.
  7. QM2 is the only cruise liner out of the Cunard fleet. In 2016 they had dance hosts, not sure if they still do but can find our in December. The buffet was awesome but of course it lacks the atmosphere , service and presentation of a dining room.
  8. The Americans still wouldn't understand for several reasons, 1 it is Australian currency, and 2 Americans measure everything in anything but measurements, such as football fields or stadiums. So in this case they would be wondering how many skittles or m&ms would fit in the glass.
  9. There are good reports on the HoHo bus, it is certainly great way to see and get around to the various points of interest.
  10. The cheapest and easiest options are not the same, the train is likely cheapest. Uber or a cab would be easiest as it is door to door.
  11. Not too bad, not great either. But why Oz and not ml? $10.50 for the 14 Oz or just over 400 ml.
  12. The sooner public transport systems allow people to tap on using their own card the better.
  13. P&O do it, I imagine Princess will as well, unless they tell you to do it yourself. Best to check when it gets closer.
  14. Wow, what a trip. Glad you enjoyed your visit.
  15. The front of the caravan park perhaps
  16. On cruise ship days, Melbourne put a bus 109 to take you to the city, so as to not overload the tram with cruise ship passengers, it is the same cost but leaves from on the pier which saves walking the 300m to the tram stop. The 109 bus takes you to the 124A tram stop, which is by the casino on the south bank. From there you can get free trams around the CBD or walk to the DFO.
  17. Neither, you are in Brisbane and I am in Canberra, lol.
