  1. We have Turkish towels, they are lightweight and non bulky.
  2. It is not just a shopping centre there is food and drinks area, with some comfy seats, perfect for waiting on.
  3. Perhaps check out but leave your bags at the hotel for a few hours. If it is a airport hotel, you could get the free shuttle to the DFO.
  4. Yep, lots of speculation in that story, not many actual facts.
  5. Wow, that is terrible. I drank fresh mountain water from a stream in Iceland but didn't suffer those consequences. I was told as a youngster to avoid yellow smow as well.
  6. Hand washing is the best and easiest way to stop transmission
  7. Thes3 numbers were for Adelaide's arrival. The Melbourne figures would have been much higher, probably over a hundred, for health authorities to be notified, hence the news story.
  8. I am now wondering if if was a joint publicity stunt by Paul McCartney, the RSL and P&O for remembrance day.
  9. Agree with the cruise destination, south Pacific or Queensland and it wouldn't matter, anywhere else here like Tasmania, south Coast and especially NZ, April and would be better.
  10. The Grace hotel is located between Town Hall and Wynyard stations, and as the train incurs the $15 pp airport fee, bringing the fare to about $20 pp, I suggest a taxi or Uber. It will be easier with your luggage and most likely around the same cost or just slightly more, depending on the time of day and traffic. The tram on George St (one block east) will take you to Circular Quay easily when going to board. Brisbane's port is a fair way out, a cab, or uber may be best there if you cannot organise a ship shorex.
  11. I know it helps but why do people really need someone there to tell them to wash their hands before eating.we learn this stuff as children.
  12. You will need to ask your friends about cancelling, but Princess won't cancel. The cruise be delayed longer for a deeper clean, but do not be surprised if health checks are also enforced.
  13. Having some people getting sick on any given cruise is a given, an outbreak is something else as it describes that certain numbers have exceeded the allowable quota before health authorities at the next ports need to be informed.
  14. Now that is asking for a bit of a long reach. Sign of the times, I suppose.
  15. There is also a bus service from Auckland Central to Te Hana.
  16. Latest news is that soldier beetles have boarded the Pacific Encounter.
  17. I heard about it a few days ago. Getting covid is bad enough, getting gastro as well is enough to give someone the ships.
