  1. Some have lasted longer but they are large or very small cases which we rarely use as we tend to use the medium sized cases most.
  2. One thing to remember is that some people are doing more than a cruise. One time we were away in Europe for 8 weeks but did a 3 night cruise as one bit of the trip. We had a reasonable amount of luggage for the trip but far too much for a 3 night cruise. Without knowing another's story, we shouldn't judge. Some would say we should never judge on anything.
  3. With multiple overseas trips involving many flights and numerous domestic trips each year, the luggage handlers are not kind anywhere. Things get broken.
  4. This is why we have been going further abroad to cruise, new destination cruises beats domestic cruises even if they have some favourite ports every time.
  5. TripAdvisor has a list of things to do and see. A great resource.
  6. We have had numerous bags over the years, none have lasted longer than 7 or so years without being damaged in some way, wheel, handle, zipper, casing, etc.
  7. I don't think I have ever stained my clothes while on holiday, I don't tend to get into those type of situations.
  8. Kids at home after 21 are known as Kippers = Kids In Parents Pockets Eroding Retirement Savings.
  9. You are never truly free for travel until the kids leave home and the dog dies.
  10. I have seen someone's speedos in a hot tub, thought it may have been a big night for someone.
  11. You would never see any passenger running on Princess ships, their walkers would break,
  12. Not a minimalist when it comes to packing but may be close.
  13. Depends, some of the older ships can have one in the corridor coming out of one of the cabins.
  14. And here I learnt at school that pie was infinite.
