I was able to swim underwater laps in Horizon's aft pool in the evenings after most of the folks had cleared out. It was deeper than 4 feet, close to 5 in fact.
I really wish the pools onboard (but not the hot-tubs) were saline pools, instead of chlorinated, or full-content seawater. Saline pools DO have some salt content, but not as much as seawater. It's not as bad on your eyes (although I wear a mask or goggles) and not as injurious to swimsuits or swim jammers.
With all the kids and beer drinks, we need more chlorine!

Last year, we returned on Thanksgiving Day, and we noticed them unpacking Christmas decorations as we debarked.

I am sailing on the Spirit in a few weeks so I will let you know but I did sail on the Glory and Valor in the last 12 months and I noticed scooters everywhere.

I don't know how the Australian court system works but I more than likely in the United States it would probably to overturned on appeal since that early inthe pandemic and there was so much confusion.

I might wear my black Crocs on elegant night but I would not wear them on an outdoor adventure.

Interesting move by Carnival.
Except for a couple of Journey cruises, looks starting in 2025 , the Spirit will do 6 and 8 day cruises out of Mobile to the Bahamas only and thereby completly eliminating Western Caribbean ports.
6 day Start: Mobile > Bimini > Celebration Key or
Start: Mobile > Celebration Key > Nassau
8 day Start: Mobile > Bimini > Celebration Key > Princess Cays > Nassau or
Start: Mobile > Bimini > Nassau > Celebration Key > Half Moon Cay
Good move by Carnival or not ?
I just booked Central America for 2025.

I don't believe the MDR serves breakfast on debarkation day. The MDR is usually used as a priority debarkation staging area for Diamonds/Plats.
The lido buffet and Blue Iguana Cantina, however are usually open until 9 or 9:30 AM.
Yes they served breakfast in the MDR on debarkation day- the time on our last cruise was list from 7:00am to 8:30am.

Sorry, I wrote like Yoda. It should have been many people will withdraw their tips when given a fuel charge.

Entering the passports in the check-in is only an informal process. The agent will enter the data from the passport.

The 21 inches is the width of the cabin door. It doesn't matter if it gets measured or not, it won't fit in the cabin, so they will have no place to put it, so they cannot take it without an accessible room.
Didn't the original poster indicate, it could be disassembled?

I never sailed on the Horizon but I sailed earlier this year on the Glory and Valor. The both had tea time.

Carnival has restrictions on checked luggage but this is not enforced. I have noticed many people with huge suitcases. (I think they may have a few kids in them.)

I know the rule about unopened beers in a general bar since they do not want you to pass the beer off to another person- especially an underage one. As for the straws, I noticed some people bring plastic ones.

You should be fine.

Thanks everyone
The mobility questionnaire has been completed. The scooter is 22 inches wide
I doubt anyone will measure it so I would not sweat it. Enjoy

Yes, prices are up but I expected it. I have three cruises booked but not have to take a break after those.(But click through a few mock books and they weren't that bad.)

Right I know there were stories out there. I saw it on the Florida news yesterday but the original poster indicated there were no stories about this incident (although they linked a video about it.)

I would just need to take a different tote bag - the one I like the best has a mesh pocket on outside that my water bottle fits in perfectly; I don’t think the liter bottle will fit, but I'll give it a try before I buy a new tote bag.
Carnival sell a sling for the water bottles on the ship.

Yes but that is gone in no time and the bottle is too big for taking ashore, IMO. But thanks for reminding me to be sure to pick up my bottle.
The liter bottle are big but we take them to shore.

Texting WiFi package

Right sometimes iMesmge messages and Facebook messenger have worked for me without purchasing the wifi. But it is hard to know when this will work. I have sailed on four cruises in the last 18 and got a few dozen messages via this but it didn't always work. If you know you need to send messages then buy a plan from the ship or contact your cellular provider since most now have ship board plans. AT&T has an unlimited text and calling plan for $100.00.
