  1. Here is the list of drinks available for free from 5 - 7 PM as part of the Elite Happy Hour. This is from last year so it may have changed.
  2. We have done it before and enjoyed it. I have booked it for us on our upcoming April cruise on Millie but there is a chance we may cancel, or my wife may skip. She's not into it as much as I am.
  3. I still carry a sports jacket with me but no longer even bother to pack a tie. If the temperature in Luminae and other venue's we frequent in the evenings warrants it, I'll wear the sports jacket in the evening. Otherwise, it stays on a hanger in our closet.
  4. I thought that as well when I first read it and then I considered. We booked a suite with all inclusive. So we are not paying a daily gratuity charge for our room not do we pay a gratuity when obtaining a drink with our drink package. So in that sense he is correct about suites.
  5. It is approximately a one hour trip from the Port Canaveral cruise terminal to the Orlando Airport. Since it is my understanding that Nexus qualifies you for TSA Pre-Check then I do not see an issue with making an 1155 flight. After two very uncomfortable experience 10 years or so ago with the transportation arranged by the ship from/to the airport/ship we have used private transportation every time we have sailed out of Port Canaveral since then.
  6. Sorry, not my scene. But feel free have a great time.
  7. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty == Feel free to add/subtract/fix. (did both XLSX and PDF I did add one drink I tried and liked from Quantum's Schooner Bar. Drinks_to_Try.pdf Drinks_to_Try.xlsx
  8. Ah, did not see that was for two people. Fortunately my wife never drinks all five of hers so there is always one or two left over for me.
  9. It also does not state they shorts are allowed.
  10. When we have food in the room we no longer want, we simply find our stateroom attendant and ask her/him to please remove it the first chance they get. This has worked every time.
  11. YouTube says you took it down and it's no longer available.
  12. The only "Elite lounge" on Celebrity is the Retreat / Michael's Club which is exclusive to Suite Guest. You are thinking of Royal Caribbean with their Diamond and Concierge/Suite Lounges.
  13. I feel cheated. I am only getting 5 free drink vouchers. Who do I talk to on board to get the other 5?
  14. They make excellent frisbie's for the sea gulls to chase as well. Of the gulls or other birds are not around or fail to catch them, I am sure the fish will eat them. I have also been assured they are biodegradable so no worries from the environmental police.
  15. We always walk from the dock to the town in Sitka. It is a nice scenic walk in our opinion. Have not timed it we both enjoy stretching our legs when we are off the ship.
  16. Ours usually looks similar. We normally tip our Luminae waiters direct vs giving it to the maitre'd. We did have one cruise where we were attended by several different waiters, as our primary waiter and assistant waiter both tested positive for COVID. In that instance we left an envelope for them with the Maitre'd and also left an envelope for the Maitre'd for the rest of the Luminae staff. With respect to the Retreat Concierge, if we use the Concierge for anything then we will tip them at the end. There have been multiple cruises where our only interactions have been normal greetings and an escort off the ship. We love the Retreat/Michael's Club on S-class and usually hang out there for at least an hour in the AM and PM. We typically tip the Retreat Bartender when we leave the Retreat for the evening. Sometimes if he/she does something above and beyond, such as running down a bottle of my favorite rum, I may slip him/her a little something extra then and there.
  17. The 5 November Southern Japan is 100% sold out. It has been for a few months. We were scheduled on that cruise up until last week when we decided to cancel and do a week in Hawaii instead.
  18. Do you tip in cash or do you just add it to the bill?
  19. That has been our experience as well. Always sat at the same table or one very close to it and had the same servers, except one time when there were no tables available in our usual area.
  20. We have always waited to the end of the cruise to tip our wait staff in Luminae, Butler, and Stateroom attendant. Bartenders and servers we tip as served.
  21. We have stayed at Renaissance Hotel Seattle. We used Lyft from the airport to the hotel. I read online that ride share drop off and pick up for the ship was a couple of blocks from the cruise terminal so we took a taxi from the hotel to the terminal and a taxi to the airport on our return.
