  1. Excellent. Much better than dishing out inaccurate information IMHO.
  2. Sure it would. No shorts, flip flots or tshirts. Chops and Giovanni’s.
  3. Yes, good travel agents will offer you OBC and/or other perks for transferring your cruise to them. If they have group space your price could also be lower, but don't accept only the group rate. You should also get OBC or free specialty dining. Shop around for a TA who is happy emailing and will respond quickly or have someone else in the agency respond if they are off.
  4. It's not an attitude. It is someone who made it to headwaiter in a specialty restaurant by enforced the cruise line rules.
  5. Inaccurate information. It depends on the ship and the head waiter.
  6. Just another one of the things that have been taken away because posters can't stop bragging about how they beat the system. It all gets overdone and then Royal cracks down.
  7. On our recent Explorer cruise Chops and Giovanni’s were telling people with shorts, flip flops and tshirts that the dress code required a real shirt, slacks and shoes. They were allowing them time to go change. Most of those we observed did return.
  8. It sure would be nice if they could email those notifications on departure day instead of all of the announcements.
  9. Yep, my wife, me and daughter who hasn't been on Royal for years. This proves what you all have said many times re: their IT department.
  10. Humm... I would not bet against Royal if they decided to force the issue. You knew the rules and you signed the contract.
  11. Leftover coupons from night before? Not following???
  12. Do you happen to remember what they call this dish in your photos? 3 of us were served it when we ordered Beef Stroganoff on the Explorer a few weeks ago. We knew it was right but waiter insisted that it was.
  13. Is Alaska being popular new? Seems like last year they were giving away Alaska cruises.
  14. No, but you can always take your plate out to the open pool deck.
