  1. i believe it was on the contact page chat. Not sure as it was a decade ago.
  2. I used the message app on the website to leave a message on our preferences for pop, juice and a feather allergy. When we arrive it had been taken care of. (they never responded to the msg). Without a message on our subsequent Oceania voyages, they have followed thru with what we asked the first time. Will see on Aug 30 if they still have the note on their file on us.
  3. One must reminder that supply chains were under considerable stress following COVID. On top of that was getting supplies to a moving target. If you had complained to front desk, they might have not been able to help, but you would have found out the true reason for lack of those supplies.
  4. Did he say which one. Just checked and the Anselmo Buenos Aires, Curio Collection by Hilton (Ansemo Aieta 1069 ) is sold out. The other Hilton is Hilton Buenos Aires (Av Mcacha Guemes 351) rates starting at $304 for basic room.
  5. Air booked from Toronto to Buenos Aries for a few days stay before boarding on January 15th embarkation for the trip across the Drake. Anyone else on this cruise looking to partner up for activities in Buenos Aires?
  6. Brochure titled European Connoisseur 2023 Voyages. Sailing dates Jun 12, 2023 to Nov 3, 2023. The brochure focused on food related issues and associated food related shore excursions.
  7. We received a Mediterranean brochure where all cruises were the Ultimate on Friday. Maybe this is what is coming?
  8. I hope it is the Hilton as I am a Gold level member. Also awaiting the release of those 24/25 details.
  9. We have enjoyed the shows in the past (except for a few solo music acts) including the comedy acts. I believe any musical show improvement is a good thing. I would be nice on longer cruises that they sprinkle in an education night for guests on various issues that the guests on that cruise could be polled on prior to embarkation.
  10. Depending on the weather, I do want not only to do the plunge, but also spend a night on shore in a tent and seelping bag. Wife: Staying on the warm ship.
  11. Thanks, it is great to see all the pictures and explanations. Looking forward to our trip in Jan 2024.
  12. Most of the larger TA who are elite Oceana Agencies usually will provide free gratuities on the mid to high cabins. Some times you just have to ask before finalizing the booking.
  13. We were always happy to pay the deviation fee to ensure being there in time. We also fly Premium Economy on any flights over 5 to 5 1/2 hours as we both a little wider.
  14. I don't know about NB travel coverage if the TA fails to deliver or goes belly up or the destination (re cruise line) as well. Ontario does have such a requirement to sell travel in Ontario. It is a safety issue to ensure the $ are not lost. We use a Vancouver TA who, I understand is licensed to sell across Canada except Quebec. For bookings at Concierge and above the do have included trip insurance (some limitations but not age) Find an Agency you trust and then find the TA in that Agency who quickly responds to questions.
  15. If true, Kudos to O, just wish it had happened sooner. We have been suggesting this on our end of cruise surveys since 2013. We have always flow in a few days earlier to ensure we get there on time to the ship before it leaves. Doing so allows for a stress-free time before flying as we don't have to worried about weather or short layovers.
  16. Adding Ultimate after being book due to a promotion is available only to those who booked on board. For the two cases for us, both where we had booked on board, a phone call to Oceania and reminder we booked on board and are subject to their guarantee, within minutes they confirmed and changed our booking to include the Ultimate. (In both cases we had transferred the booking to our TA within the 30 day window after booking)
  17. Not sure if there is any price cut for solo. Our booking the second person was free, but subject to taxes and port fees.
  18. I searched the public site and could not find it there. I could email you a copy of what I have if it helps. Would need your email or send me one at gerry_campbell at msn.com
  19. As one of the founders of Oceania, and known as a lover of great food, COVID has had a lasting impact on supply chains and the ability to deliver great food experiences on all cruise lines. Love of food is a very subjective issue. When will Oceania reach its pre covid food excellence and when will it be exceeded.
  20. Thanks. From all the responses the Charter leaves and returns to EZE. That being the case, we don't have to worry about changing airports for our return flight leaving the same day the charter returns us (unless the charter is really late).
  21. Can anyone share from which Buneos Aries airport the charter flight leaves from and returns to?
  22. still awaiting the "Jennie in the bottle" request, Hoping to get one after the wife's two. LOL
  23. I downloaded from the Atlas site the Atlas Ashore Land Programs. Only thing I have received from them is general personal info request (passport, names, DOB etc). The brochure prices for the two hotels you listed are very close to when google the current prices. (i suspect with transfers fee are included thereby ending up cheaper)
  24. I have always done it by message to Oceania once trip payment is complete. Feather allergy for spouse, diet non cola soft drinks, and C-PAP distilled water.
