I used Michaels club many years ago when I became Elite. Back then it was for Elite only. there were only a few people in there at any time of the day or night. I now have 1800 points and might never make it to Zenith.

What new itineraries would you like to see Azamara do in 2024?
maggie.1008 replied to takemewithyou's topic in Azamara
We did the Alaska cruise on AZ and loved it. We would love to see anything on the US west coast. For some reason HAL is the only cruise line that uses San Diego departures often . -
Jim, I will be looking forward to another enjoyable read. we are going on our 5th X cruise in 10 months. Cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii next month. i am still concerned about Covid-19 cases when people are arriving home. We cruised to Alaska on the Solstice last month and the couple we went with had Covid positive test when they arrived home. No air involved as they live in Seattle. cheers, Heather

Just got off the Solstice Alaska cruise yesterday. We had 2600 passengers. Many large groups and sky lounge was used for private events. Different crowd than the usual X passengers. Many getting their monies worth from the AI liquor. we were a party of 4 and dined in Blu. We stayed to ourselves and wore mask in crowds.Brother in law tested positive for Covid as soon as we got home. We drove to the pier so no flights involved. Happy to answer any questions.

Edge-Class Infinite Verandah or Solstice-Class in Aqua Class?
maggie.1008 replied to LMaxwell's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We also choose Aqua class for Blu. If I am on a E Class ship I would rather be in SV with large balcony and four MDR are great. -
So no cruise only rates on Aqua class cabins ?

I have been on 63 cruises on 12 different lines. Half of those cruises were on Celebrity. I think Oceania has the best food at sea. We have never had a problem getting specialty restaurants reservations. We also had good food in the mdr and buffet. I enjoy the two larger ships and love having a bath tub and Bvlgari products in the regular balcony cabins. service is good on both lines and X does have more nightlife.

Although I am not a fan of the IV balcony, I do think it would work very well in Alaska. We have done that cruise many times.

I would love to see a E class ship in Alaska.

How many got Covid on this Cruise?? Disembarked 13. June.
maggie.1008 replied to Krydstosser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It’s alarming how many people are testing positive when they get home. I have done three cruises in the last year and have two more in the he next three months. So far we have not had Covid-19. I am a bit nervous about my upcoming cruises. -

Has anyone been on Solstice to Alaska in 2022?

Luminae should be open on embarking day -
Not much shade in aft cabins. If avoiding sun I would not book.

Eclipse - itinerary gaps September to October 2022
maggie.1008 replied to Redking's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Something fishy going on with our Hawaii cruise. X says 100% booked. I have 32 cruises with X and I have never seen this. I hope they let us know before June final payment. I have rolled this cruise over 3 times since 2019. -

Classic and Premium Wine by the Bottle Packages?
maggie.1008 replied to Aralim's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I know this is a old post from 2019. Can anyone who has bought this pkg. lately tell me what wines were offered in the Premium Wines by the bottle. This is not part of the AI wine pkg. I know you can buy 3,5,7 bottles. We don`t have the AI on our Hawaii cruise. -
Uograde to Premium Beverage Package not worth the money
maggie.1008 replied to drakes2's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I won’t be upgrading to the premium package. I will bring wine to enjoy at lunch and dinner . Maybe that’s what X wants? Can bring 4 bottles per cabin now, or is it 2 pp? -
Is there a place when you sign in that shows your PUP or Go Green points ?

Received mine today also. I am elite plus and 1144 points away from Zenith. Don’t think I will make it because we sail on other lines. Happy with Elite plus. Cheers

Good red wine suggestions currently available.
maggie.1008 replied to sunlover33's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I was told last week on the Millennium that Celebrity has not renewed the contract with the Wagner wines. Not sure if the Wagner group have enough supply. Maybe they were effected by the fires last year. I was in Napa last May and many wineries were effected. I was in Blu last week and no Caymus or Mer so lie -
I just came off the Millie and was disappointed in the choice of wines. I only had the classic pkg but plenty of OBC to use to upgrade wine by the glass. I was in Blu and I was glad I didn`t upgrade to the Premium pkg. No Wagner family wines or any wines I would consider Premium. Bar tenders could not keep up with demand at the Sunset Bar. They also were out of cranberry juice on the first day. They were pouring the cheaper wines and thought no one would know the difference.

I know I saw a picture in the past but I cannot find it. I would like to see the balcony of cabin 7135 or 7130 on O Class ships. ( Marina or Riviera ) Many thanks !
