  1. I really hope this helps you get your mobility back. I know exactly how you are feeling, I had nerve root compression a number of years ago and I was not operated on for six days. I now know i should have been operated on within 24 hours. As a result I have permanent nerve damage down my left side and no reflexes. Add MS diagnosis on too. I know I will be in a wheelchair in the future, we are planning a house move to accommodate my future needs. Keep us updated how you are doing, fingers crossed for you Michelle
  2. Looking forward to reading all your updates and adventures Michelle
  3. Fingers crossed for a speedy recover. Enjoy the rest of your holiday Michelle
  4. Sounds like she has had a lovely day. Have a nice time Sunday too Michelle
  5. Happy Birthday to your mum, it’s sounds like you have had a lovely morning celebrating 🎂🥂 Michelle
  6. Hi Everyone, hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. I have just done a Tesco shop with my mum and I am now stretched out on a sun lounger in the garden with an ice cream. Our elderly doggie is still not wanting to eat much and is turning his nose up at things he used to love like chicken and sausages. We even bought him his favourite - a Greggs sausage roll and he wasn’t interested. I have just bought him some mince so we will give that a try. Michelle
  7. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary and hope you have a wonderful cruise Michelle
  8. I like the bigger ships, always something to see and do for everyone. We cruise with our grandchildren sometimes so a bigger ship is perfect. We are toying with the idea of booking Iona for next year to the Fjords for a completely different type of holiday for them. We have only done Royal Caribbean with them before, a bit worried they might think there is not enough to keep them entertained. Can anyone comment on this? Michelle
  9. Morning everyone, hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend. It looks a lovely day again here and the days ahead look great too. We have grandchildren arriving tomorrow and staying overnight and the next day too so grandad has been putting up the hot tub(only inflatable one) for them as they love it. Just gardening, dog walking plus a trip to Tesco today for us. Have a nice day everyone Michelle
  10. I couldn’t believe the price of diesel at Tesco yesterday 144.9, that’s the cheapest I have seen for ages Michelle
  11. Thank you, hopefully on the mend now. I always wear a moisturiser with an SPF in all year round and if I am out in the sun a hat with a large floppy brim. A quick brush with bronzer on my face makes me look healthy Michelle
  12. Yes, glad it’s removed. Hopefully onwards and upwards now. How stupid I was when I was 18/19/20 sunbathing all day on holiday using Hawaiian Tropic or some other oil, factor 2 or something equally ridiculous. You don’t realise the damage until later. Michelle
  13. The weather around here does look good doesn’t it? We have friends coming tomorrow for a BBQ so I am keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 I have to say the treatment I have received from the NHS has been fantastic. Michelle
  14. Morning everyone, hope you are all ok today. it is cloudy outside here today but forecast to better later so fingers crossed. Hubby just taken dogs out for their first walk of the day. One of our dogs is 13 now, he is a golden retriever and sadly he has started to change recently, not always wanting to eat and prefers to be hand fed and not always wanting to go for a walk. Vets says apart from old age he is perfectly healthy, I can only imagine we will have some difficult decisions to make in the future. Not a great week for me either, wounds following my operation are not healing as well as they should be so been back at wounds clinic this week then on same day had a skin lesion removed for possible skin cancer, got a large dent and scab on my arm now but thankful it has been sorted quickly. Hope everyone else has had a good week and has a nice weekend planned. Michelle
  15. Can I put my hubby down for that group too please?
  16. A Christmas cruise sounds lovely, on photos they always look beautifully decorated and I bet the atmosphere is great. I am sure you will have a memorable time. Michelle
  17. We will meet up for definite. We have done Caribbean like you but flown both ways and done one Transatlantic but going the other way Michelle
  18. We are on the same Transatlantic as you but we fly out on 16th as I couldn’t get an accessible cabin to go on the 15th Michelle
  19. Weather forecast looks like it might be ok, fingers crossed Michelle
  20. I have a cruise booked for August but we are taking four of our grandchildren. I think I should book an adult only ship to relax a bit!!! Only the two of us on Arvia next March though Michelle
