  1. Hopefully you will have a great time once you are onboard!
  2. There should be no reason for the battery operated neck fans to be a problem!
  3. Two different terms have been mentioned above. At GSC, the Cabanas and Villas are quite different. Be sure you know which you want to book!!!
  4. I don't know if this link (with photos) will help you at all, but 10106 should be "similar-ish" to 13106, despite the fact that our room was smaller (and did NOT have the sofa that converts to 3rd passenger bed that should be in 13106)! Room 13106 is larger for that reason!!! https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/1981007-ncl-cabin-information-compilation-no-cabin-questions-posted-here-please/page/24/#comment-64348066
  5. There are plenty of on-line companies for shore excursions, however, go here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/456-caribbean/ Then, Scroll through the assorted locations you will be visiting and read through the advice given. ... BTW, do you happen to live in/near Santa Claus, IN?
  6. DH & I were on a 9-day on the Sky in December 2022. Our itinerary was similar to yours, but in a different order. We stopped at Puerto Plata first, and unlike many of the larger ships, we did dock at Taino Bay.(Lots of work was being done at that port!) We took the Ocean World Day Pass & Dominican Adventure. We enjoyed a nice, easy beach and ocean-life shows. Food and drink were not included, but not crazy expensive either...okay! I would not repeat this excursion in the future, but we did enjoy the day!!! In St Thomas, we took the Panoramic St Thomas Island & Overlooks. (We have been to St Thomas many times, so we were looking for a quiet and easy day). Scenery is nice, but it turns out we stopped at too many "shops" and not enough great "scenes." In St John's Antigua was, sadly, even less impressive than St Thomas. (Don't go on their scenic drive!!!) In Phillipsburg, St Martin, we took the Aerial Sky Explorer & 360 Views, which we enjoyed immensely. Of note, they offer Zip-Line (FAST!!! which we did not take, but others enjoyed it thoroughly! In San Juan, PR we took the El Yunque Rainforest drive. The drive does take a fairly long time (might be times of day business traffic), but we enjoyed the fresh mountain air w/a "threat" of rain showers. Some of the areas were under re-construction, so we had some limitations, but overall, we did enjoy the day. Our final stop was GSC, which we had missed on two previous cruises last year. We've also been there a half-dozen times or more, but not for quite a few times. It's a tender ride from the ship, which take longer to load/unload than to actually get from the ship to the island (you can see the ship from the island all day long). We were impressed with many improvements and additions from over the years. We had booked a Villa at Silver Cove. Which is great! But honestly, unless you want a totally quietly resting atmosphere, and being spoiled by servers, it is not a necessity. I enjoyed being in the water snorkeling. It was not awesome, but is decent. The bars are good, the food mostly okay for it's purpose, and there's plenty of music and activities available if you want to join in. If you have not been to St Thomas before, I recommend the Sky lift. We walked from the ship to the lift loading area. (Many people think that it is too far to walk, and also hate the stairs up to the lift loading area. (We are late 60's-70 and don't find it difficult. We've done that several times!)
  7. @DaDead I also want to state that many of the same restaurants are on each of the other ships, and there are some great recent reviews that have photos and comments about specific items. Perhaps those might be of interest/help you!
  8. I'm not sure if you have looked at the NCL website, but, if you go to: https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/bliss/deck-plans you can find the restaurants by deck plan. Then if you scroll down you can see what's listed on that deck. Deck 8, for example, has Ocean Blue, Los Lobos, Food Republic, Cagney's, La Cucina. Each of those restaurants has a "sample menu" that you can click on to open. We like Cagney's, Ocean Blue, La Cucina, and Le Bistro (different Deck...17).
  9. There are lots of posts that exist with the information you seek. Yes, there are price limits, as well as each person being limited to 1 starter/appetizer, 1 soup or 1 salad (not both), 1 entrée (some have UP-charges), and 1 dessert. Lots of differing opinions about restaurants. Therefore, you will want to study NCL's website for those on the BLISS, and/or read other recent posts.
  10. Humorous, but certainly does make me sit back and applaud your thoughts!!!
  11. You can open this link: https://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/cruise-accommodations/cruise-suites-and-penthouses#t5m4 (after opening link above, read through description and then scroll down the page a little further, where you'll find: (click on each of the underlined items for more info: Indulge in EXCLUSIVE AMENITIES Special Services Delicious Extras Thoughtful Touches
  12. There is a pump dispenser of lotion in our aft suite on the Sky.
  13. For us (in December) Breakfast was 7:00 AM.
  14. Future pricing is more likely to go up, rather than "on sale." If you want the water to drink while onboard, it's probably best to purchase the highest quantity package that you are likely to consume (price break is better with each larger quantity).
  15. NCL has some on their drink menus. Two that come to mind are: Aperol Spritz and Bellini. They do make others.
  16. High or low, all bids are subject to "actual availability!"
  17. Below are the most recent Terms and Conditions for the Dining Packages: (You might experience) SDPs are personal (per person, e.g., 2 guests cannot share 1 SDP meal) and non-transferable (guests cannot give their SDP meals to someone else). An SDP meal in a la carte restaurants includes 1 appetizer, 1 soup or salad, 1 main course and 1 dessert (does not apply to cover charge restaurants or Food Republic, Pincho Tapas Bar and Sushi, where a meal includes any 4 menu items). No sharing or to go orders permitted. SDP does not include beverages and additional and/or premium menu items will incur charges. A 20% gratuity and specialty service charge will be added to the package price. No SDP kids pricing available. We encourage guests to visit ncl.com/myncl to make dining reservations in advance. Reservations are not required but highly recommended, once onboard, reservations will be subject to availability. SDP meals can be enjoyed at American Diner, Cagney’s Steakhouse, Food Republic, Italian, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Moderno Churrascaria, Pincho Tapas Bar, Q Texas Smokehouse, Raw Bar, Seafood, Sushi and Teppanyaki. Dining options vary by ship. You may choose to use SDP meals in entertainment-based restaurants. There will be a 20% gratuity charge on all SDP entertainment-based restaurants. Venues/Events not included in SDP include: Room Service, SWIFT, District Brewhouse, The Bake Shop, Coco’s, O’ Sheehan’s Ice Cream Bar, Dolce Gelato, Special Occasion/Holiday menus and select Entertainment-based meals.
  18. Can verify that, yes, pool bar on Prima has Frose!! I enjoyed several...
  19. I been using "Sea Bands" for years. I happened to have bought them on sale, so I got quite a bargain for the number of times I have put them to use (and no unwanted side affects)! *** Also, good for use during pregnancy for some women.
  20. Your question is heavily discussed for all NCL cruises. Unfortunately, nobody can give you a clear and honest answer right now. Most of us would likely suggest that you continue reading the boards and make your final decision to keep, or cancel, your PP+ package about a week before your sail date (or > 3 days prior)!
  21. If you have not logged into your account and searched those that are available, I suggest that you may want to do that. It's difficult to predict if excursions will sell-out quickly, or not. So, if you see something that fits your needs/pricing, you may as well go ahead and book.
  22. Wow, I totally missed the "SUN" which definitely changes what my answer would/should have been for that ship. My apologies!!!
