Took a few Pictures today/tonight when riding our Golf cart around up in the fields behind our house. This picture is from up on the hills behind our house toward the back of our house. Little further up and over the hills behind our house is a pond I fish in. This pond is fed from rain water that drains down off the mountain. This is one of the many tractors the farmer uses to bail up the straw/hay from the field. He actually got to cut it twice this year. Took this picture about 30 minutes ago just after dusk. You can see some of those mountains over to the right. That is South of us toward North Carolina. The house you see in the picture on the other side of the lot that is for sale right next to us. you can see our house and My pickup truck under the green leafed tree in the lower right corner of the picture.

Great weekend for Philadelphia : Phillies beat the Cardinals 2 Games to Zero to advance Eagles beat the Cardinals 20- 17 to remain the only undefeated team in the NFL 5-0 Now to cap off the weekend, A Mets lost against the Padres tonight would be icing on the cake ! 🙂

Was quite a surprise The Blue Jays couldn't even win one game in their home park, just goes to say in these short series it's not who has the most talent that always wins. It's who is the hottest at that time. Seattle had a great finish to the season to even get into the playoffs, So they are just riding that high.

It was a very good night for the Phillies. Their pitching really kept their Number 2, 3 and 4 hitters off stride. They were just 3 for 23. That was the difference. Now on to the Braves, Phillies have to take 1 of the first 2 in Atlanta I believe to have a chance. Much rather play the Braves then the Mets. Season series was close with the Braves, very one sided with the Mets.

He may not pitch the next inning now with a 5 run lead. He might need Edwin tomorrow night for some heavy lifting.

Buck has a handle on it, He knows Best. Not ! I have a question why is Tampa Bay starting a pitcher today at Noon that has only played 2 games all season. Is their coach saving their starters for next season because right now they are down 1-0 to Cleveland?

Beautiful Fall day here is Southwest Virginia High today of 55 degrees, but later tonight our first freeze/frost warning. tonight. Will be covering my Banana Peppers so they last a little longer.

Sorry didn't mean to offend anyone with my post on an open forum. You seemed to have taken it personal for some reason. People have all different reasoning for taking any cruise of all different lengths. Of course people do what works for them. That works for me. More power to them. My original post was based off what H20 said.............Sorry Andrew if you took it the wrong way.

I don't know how people do it, those 3-5 day cruises go so fast. Guess it's not as bad when you can drive to the ports but with flying involved just doesn't seem it would be worth the hassle. Flying is such a pain !

That's why the Dodger's are the Dodger's, you don't see them show anyone up. They always do everything in the right way. I admire that team on how they do things.........can't say that about most of the other teams.

Pretty good idea, when trailing by 7 runs and you hit a homerun you shouldn't be blowing kisses to the crowd when rounding the bases should you? Especially on your home field. I don't get it? Baseball 25 years ago you do that the next batter up gets a fast ball in the ear hole. Boy how baseball has changed.

I was out getting a Covid Booster shot that was scheduled and only saw the first 8 innings of the game. Taped it and didn't know who won until seeing the replay. To my surprise the Phillies pulled it out, then I saw your post and replied before reading further down the thread..... where you said "WOW"

Even when Buck was on those Baseball TV Shows prior to going back to managing, he always acted like he was the smartest baseball man on the planet earth on those shows. He just may be out smarting himself on this one. Another Home run, Padres just tacking on more runs....Way to go Buck!
