Food Selection and Quality Hits an All Time Low
Jimbo replied to Vibe's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Why not put the meat out front along side the veggies. Is that asking to much to fix the issue? -

Did that, they put a half of spoon more in. I thought it was pointless after that and never had stir fry again. It was like the cook thought he was being watched and if he put a lot more meat into the stir fry he would get in trouble. -

Not a great ship, they did you a favor. I never did believe they were going to take that ship for Alaska runs anyway. -

I found it funny on Jewel last month. They had a stir fry section in the Windjammer. They had the bowls of veggies out front which you could use the tongs and put on your plate and then hand the cook behind the counter where you then told him what meat you wanted, chicken or steak but those bowls were in the back by the cook so you couldn't put the amount of meat on your own plate. They put on such a small spoonful of meat into your mixture, it was more like just a Vegetable stir fry. It's like they were rationing out the meat. Back in the day you used to put on as much meat as you wanted into your stir fry dish. Very disappointing. Needless to say my stir fry dish was a joke. -

8181 was the best of both worlds, had plenty of SHADE(by the table if that is what you wanted) and SUN on it's balcony...........But the Cabin was like 3 times the sizes of 7388 and 7688 (Both are ALL SHADE balconies except if you are standing by the port hole opening on the side Not a usable space though when trying to set up 2 lounge chairs) which we have also been in those 2 cabins. -
10 drinks card - say cheers and save. Is this new?

My guess revenue is down right now on your sailing and they are trying to reach it's projected goal. That is when you see something like this offered. -

We actually went on Celebrity Infinity when we went to Alaska, Cabin #8181. Will never forget it had the largest Corner AFT facing cabin we have ever had. Balcony was as large as the cabin. It was a great cabin to have for Alaska since you can see so many different angles from that balcony. -

Probably best to look at other lines with much smaller ships then Royal has if you want new and exciting smaller ports in Europe. -

Smart thinking on Royal's part, no one wants to take Grandeur to Alaska. -

Glad we went to Alaska years ago and got that off our bucket list with the way prices are now. -

Because they can't handle all the calls into the call centers.
