  1. Suite pax can disembark whenever they wish. If you you purchase the transfers, you will be given a defined disembarking time. It will be pretty early.
  2. It could be. People are getting off ships. Flying home from the amusement parks...
  3. I suspect the second half will repeat the first. Its really not very practical to have 35 different menus.
  4. They did the 14 day trips all Alaska season for many years...but 4 less ships in the fleet, so something had to give. There is at least one, if not two less HAL ships in Alaska.
  5. A number of people have. You can tell, for example, on the Florida Departures board, by those who ask about how to get from one Terminal to another.
  6. In our experience, yes. They do different material.
  7. There are ports boards for all the Mexican ports (Mexican Rivera board) with all sorts of info on what to do in each port. There is a Colombia board and a Guatemala board.
  8. The taxi we took wanted $20 off the meter. He didn't get a tip.
  9. But they didn't have group for flights at 10:15,which the OP is asking about. Might be a message there.
  10. What ship are you on? The Roll Calls are here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/52-holland-america-roll-calls/
  11. Yep...and as international travel is projected to be up 35% this year over last...the answer is pretty obvious.
  12. Some reading on the MSC board, and on it's website will get you a lot of info. I would expect the Mods to move this back over to the MSC board.
  13. I don't think it's surprising that a person might be ready to get off after 31 days, and that it shouldn't be a surprise that menus and entertainment repeat over that period. Some would be happy to stay on. But I suspect the vast majority would be ready to get off.
  14. Sunseeker won't pick you up at San Pedro, but they picked you up at Long Beach? They are very close to each other.
  15. You are asking about CLEAR? In most airports you are diverted away from the standard TSA Pre line, to a booth or stand where your biometrics are taken. If approved, you bypass all other lines and checks, and go direct to be xrayed.
  16. I am assuming this post you made on another board is somehow not relevant to your situation? Posting in all caps is considered yelling and is against Cruise Critic rules.
  17. The flies can be very annoying, but they don't bite. Not sure how soon they come out. They were pretty active in July.
  18. Not only extra work, but extra cost, for those who ask about spending US dollars in other countries...
  19. On Aug 3? It was a terrible mess. Fortunately we didn't have anywhere to run off to.
  20. We have tried coins for dollars as well...mightily resisted by Americans.
  21. No. The disembarking process is a cluster at Boston. Severe shortage of cabs.
  22. Not just on the NCL board. Been discussed all over Cruise Critic over the years. Not a good idea. "Cute" isn't always "best".
  23. I would be looking at a transport service, like the wonderful Rome in Limo, mentioned many times in a huge thread just down the board. You could train. The cruise line will expect you off by 9:30 at the latest. How soon they start disembarking depends on when the port clears the ship. Maybe as soon as 6:30. But why do you need to get off that early?
  24. There is no rule on the topic...no "best" time. If no money is put up front, you can book as early as 365 days out. If the price goes down, you make another booking at the lower price, THEN cancel the higher priced booking.
  25. AMS (the airport) is between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and serves both. There are several discussions on the Western Europe board and transportation options.
