  1. Always see Friends of Bill W, rarely see Friends of Dorothy. Met a guy named Bill Wilson on a cruise that thought it was nice that he had so many friends aboard that they had reserved a place for them to meet.
  2. Diamond lounge is now only 1 story. (At least it was when we were there.) Reserve your shows. - or go with showing up 23 minutes prior to showtime.
  3. This is what I've been told when I asked; "Why do you keep calling me when we don't show for dinner?".
  4. Or even not have them store them. And even get off at the turnaround anyway and bring two more bottles aboard. - it has been known to happen.
  5. Suite lounge concierge, if you have needs… reservations at meals, activities, etc. Also Suite concierge can get you off the ship at the end of your cruise at an early time.
  6. The virgin martini is quite healthy if you get a lemon twist rather than olives.
  7. On the Allure, I heard a guy continually calling it the Bow & Stem. When I pointed out the actual name, he lost it laughing about himself.
  8. BTW: Cruises out of the US ports will have excursions generally conducted in American English and food for the masses of Americans.
  9. If you’ve played the freebie cash, you’ve spent a penny. Of course, if none of your spins ever “won”, you wouldn’t have spent a penny. Other than that, you could cash out your winnings. just say’n
  10. Brother-in-law switched his for the water of beer, Coors light. He took the Bud lights to a bar and exchanged.
  11. Your GG martini is covered by the free drinks. Following the rules, they will charge you for the additional cost and 18% for drinks that exceed the limit of $15
  12. Would it be wrong to bring a couple hundred individual bags of chips and sell them for $2 a bag or 2 bags for $5?
  13. Did you receive a Royal Caribbean Group Survey? Asking about cruise preferences...
  14. Yes, they ask you for your stateroom number when being seated. Go see the dining room staff when you first board and try to set up night’s as you would like them. They may or may not be able to fit your schedule. As an alternative, you could meet at specialty dining venues or the Windjammer or solarium(depending on the ship)
  15. I'm happy to see that MSC has a "salesperson" visiting the Royal forum. I'm not a food photographer, but your photos did the job.
  16. Ahhh... A Manifesto. I've been waiting. This is why there are 40+ cruise lines in the world. If you like the cruise experience, there are plenty of lines to choose. I hope Holland America provides you what you want in cruising.
  17. I’m not a lover of the towel beasts, but much to the wife’s dismay, I have been known to add embellishments. I favor finding red pieces from the various paper items to make tongues, eyelashes, cigarette-like items and wink eyes.
