  1. My husband has been doing this for about a year now. Would be so nice if this could be an easy fix. Unfortunately we have 4 cruises in the next 15 months, so are reluctant to keep messing with it in case he gets locked out.
  2. Went to Google Play and there is no option to UPDATE.
  3. We are on Riviera Deck mud-aft and for this location our Muster Station has always been Crown Grill Bar, but the new app is also showing Crooners Bar for us. One more item to be resolved.
  4. Same for me and I specifically looked at that item.
  5. We are on Discovery in April. I booked Bistro Sur La Mer in early November, even though I knew it had changed to The Catch. My dining reservations are now showing the correct date and time for The Catch.
  6. Asked my TA to call Princess to see if they would accept a reservation for full suite passenger and she was told we would have to wait until we were onboard.
  7. If you are in a full suite as opposed to mini-suite, then it is comped. Up until recently, you would receive a tel call from Princess asking which night and time you would like to attend. However, now that it is available to all passengers that are willing to pay, reservations can be made on the app under specialty dining. I tried to make a reservation but the app wanted to charge my credit card even though we are in a full suite. I asked my TA to call Princess and see what the current situation is and she was told that passengers in full suites will have a letter in the cabin upon boarding telling you your scheduled date and time and if that is not acceptable you can see the Concierge to make the changes. My concern is that the date and time we want may not be available by then. We will see. We have done it previously and LOVED it.
  8. Also been putting that on our survey at the end of every cruise. Seems like Princess is missing a bet, literally, as we spend almost no time in the casino anymore. Can't deal with the smoke!
  9. We were in a suite on Discovery so we were comped. We loved it and would definitely pay to do it again, but our next 3 cruises on Discovery will be in suites, so I am hopeful the current policy of comping suites will still be in effect. However, either way- we will attend. I am not much of a seafood fan and do not eat shellfish, but I promised myself I would at least taste whatever they served and am I glad I did because I loved the octopus. The steaks were just as we like them, medium-rare. My husband has food allergies and we provided this info when they originally offered us the invitation. Also, the day before our reservation the host of the 360 experience tracked us down ( we were in the Piazza having a drink) and confirmed the allergies, which we very much appreciated. I hope you enjoy your evening as much as we did.
  10. We are also desert dwellers (low desert near Palm Springs) and we also love being able to drive to the port. We are booked on the cruise immediately following yours. Hope all goes well and you are able to cruise. This is our 3rd time on this itinerary, so ports are not that important to us. We enjoy ship/sailing time.
  11. If you don't make them in advance on the app, then you can call the dine line from your cabin or you can just go to the restaurant and check availability - even if the restaurant is not open there is usually someone there to take reservations. If you are in a full suite you can ask the Concierge to assist you.
  12. It is inside Sabatini's. The group of 20 guests are walked through the restaurant to a private entrance into the special room used for the 360 Experience. I agree it is a wonderful experience.
  13. Please come back and let us know what happens tomorrow. That would be very helpful. Thanks
  14. Exactly same for us. Surprised to see Print Luggage Tags but when I tried, the luggage tags that printed were for our Alaska cruise last August. Oh well, we will just wait and hope that Princess IT eventually fixes it.
  15. Go to your Travel Summary on tee website and scroll down to Special Services. You should see a breakdown of Bev Pkg, Wi-fi, Fitness Classes, Specialty Desserts, Crew Appreciation and Medallion Shipping.
  16. Ha ha - just about to post the same question. I willbe following
  17. We were on Discovery in August and it was open on disembarkation day also.
  18. I won't pretend to speak for Bob, but we also cruise in suites and love Sabatinis breakfast. We always have wonderful service from very friendly yet professional staff. We always tip either last day or next to last day but we have noticed we may be in the majority. Very sad.
  19. I agree with lx200gps. Within the structures there are elevators, but to embark or disembark the ship the only access I am aware of are ramps that do a lot of "zig zags". It probably would be best to request assistance such as a wheelchair.
  20. Yes, they do have the PES Lounge, with coffee, juices and pastries. We prefer not to deal with the crowds however and so we wait until noon or so and then we can walk straight on, no waiting, no crowds. Everyone has their preferences though. Have Fun!
  21. We all do did the 28 day round trip from L.A. on the Sapphire. We LOVED it - but we love the "cruising" part of cruising. There were a number of passengers that were going a little stir crazy with 8 days straight sailing back to L.A.
  22. Our next cruise is next April but is allowing me to make reservations now. We are in a suite and typically have the 1st night dinner at Bistro Sur La Mer but since it is being changed to The Catch I am waiting until the change actually happens before I make reservations.
  23. Huh - go figure. I have been viewing the member site for many, many years and never asked to pay a fee. Well, glad you were able to get to the pics.
