  1. Have you checked on your roll call to see if anyone there has been able to get a boarding time?
  2. One cruise we did have to ask, but otherwise they have been on the desk in the cabin.
  3. So sorry, we are also big fans of Thermal Suite on the older ships. But very lucky we don't have physical limitations. We do not care for the Enclave on the royal class ships (or the lack of the promenade deck).
  4. Your room steward should have provided you breakfast, lunch (sea days) and dinner menus in your suite for each day.
  5. That's surprising. We are on Sept. 24th Sapphire and we were able to select boarding time over a week ago.
  6. Cool - thanks! Guess we are never too old to learn. (Now all I have to do is remember this info - LOL!!)
  7. Hmmm - is correct. Not seeing anything on Princess site regarding this. We have a 15 day Hawaii cruise out of L.A. in March of 2023 so hope that hasn't changed. Trying to stick with cruises out of K.A. so no flying and also prefer the older ships with promenade decks.
  8. Uh oh - once in a suite, you might never go back. At least that's how it worked for us.
  9. Port schedule shows her at B93 until Sept. 27th. I was surprised, because of the cost.
  10. She is at Berth 93 in San Pedro. Looks like she is on schedule for restart in September. Hoping the Sapphire will be on the same track to arrive San Pedro in about 15 or 16 days
  11. Since, I believe, there re only 2 OS on these ships. How expensive could it be to provide a table and 4 chairs? 2 OS X 6 Royal Class ships = 12 sets of table and chairs.
  12. Yes, sorry I was thinking of the Crown and Grand class ships. We are not fan's of OS on Royal Class ships. Seems to be a lot of space that is poorly utilized.
  13. Princess used to do a 17 or 18 day round trip to Panama Canal twice a year - but hasn't been on the itineraries for a few years I believe. I would love to see it again.
  14. Agree, the Owners Suite amenities are the same as Penthouse suites. Depends on the ship, but on some the balcony can be narrow - however, the interior of the cabin is larger and includes a dining room table with 4 chairs. If we are cruising in warm weather we like PH Suites and cooler weather we prefer the Owners Suite.
  15. Trying to figure out what the Sapphire is doing in-between her 2 South Pacific cruises, which would be from Dec. 1, 2022 to April, 2023.
  16. We are also out of FCD's and don't sail until September - just keep our fingers crossed, I guess.
  17. We did too, but unfortunately Bora Bora is no longer on the itinerary. The island decided they don't want the large cruise ships arriving and risking their beautiful environment. Can't say I blame them - but sad for us.
  18. We did it on the Sapphire - love, love, love all those sea days. May have to consider this again.
  19. I sent an email to 4 of the top level execs at Princess about 10 days ago, asking what their proposed solution to this issue was going to be and when. Obviously I have not received any response and probably won't. We have 4 cruises upcoming in aft suites but due to health issues that are affected by smoke, we are contemplating how to move forward. We will be on Baja for one cruise and Aloha for the other three. Wondering if being that high up will give us some protection.
