  1. Let the eyes roll, if you are happy that is all that matters.
  2. I would pay, now we don’t go to them,..
  3. Have a great trip and cruise, looking forward to your personal experience on the Nova. I kind of excited and really looking forward to boarding her in December. Looking forward to reading more of your cruise.
  4. We’re booked in that suite, but not until December from Lima. We tried to book it from Cartagena but couldn’t do the add on so we’re in a different suite until Lima when we move to the suite.
  5. When you consider you’re not eating in another restaurant that night the cost is more than $160 per person. So the service, the food should be EXCELLENT—no excuse’s period.
  6. OK, but now we have a new rule—-like others before the rule change told everyone follow the rules, well I guess it’s time for those people to follow the rules. You can’t have it your way all the time. like to told others you can choose another cruise if this makes you unhappy—-same goes for those……It’s time to let go, and move on.
  7. No, but Silversea has and they are making the move—-yes slowly, but going in the right direction.
  8. 100% correct, and times will keep evolving. SS looks at the Market for cruisers and they want a share of that Market and how it is changing.
  9. I’m only specking for myself, it’s all about demographics and money, People should dress nicely where ever you are——but formal isn’t for everyone and one small segment shouldn’t rule for everyone. If others want to dress formal - no problem and if they don’t want formal no problem.
  10. I agree with everything expect the no jeans, nice dress jeans look a lot better than some of those out dated Tux’s. Just my opinon.
  11. and the food isn’t too par with a restaurant charging that price.
  12. Like I said before it was only a matter of time before a change in the dress code. Finally Silversea is doing what the customer wants……..if they want to fill ships they have to do what the public wants.
  13. I agree, SS did a bad job - that said we’re going to try it again, however on the sprite last Jan we were underwhelmed with the food in La Dame-service was good.
  14. We live in Rancho Mirage (near Palm Springs), this will be are 2nd cruise on SS. Looking forward to meeting you on the ship. We’ve always wanted to do a Holiday cruise, but something always got in the way. This time it’s going to happen. Looking forward to your up dates………
  15. Just curious, are you on the Nova for Christmas and New years? We booked that one with a b2b starting in Cartagena departing in Fort Lauderdale. So far a looks good, waiting to see more. Looking forward to hear what your TA has to say.
  16. Sorry I didn’t mean to say we locked in dinner yet, I meant to say we plan to book one of them 120 days out (which is soon). We are planning Silver Note for New Year’s eve. But wanting Christmas eve kind of special dinner.
  17. I did, but wanted to see if we had a few others——We’re going to La Dame because we get one dinner for two. Just wanted to see if Atlantide would be better because it’s Christmas Eve……
  18. We’ll be sailing on the Nova during Christmas—-On Christmas Eve how is Atlantide, (festive, fun very nice, special) or just another evening at Atlantide. Or what’s so special about La Dame Christmas Eve, or is it just another evening dinner like every other night. Thanks, trying to decide what would be best.
  19. I agree, you need a good TA. We never have a problem—they handle all questions for us, plus you get some nice perks.
  20. Nice idea, making your own soup——but not for me.
  21. Enjoying your cruise, thank you for taking the time to post.
  22. If they have the suite open, and it’s OK with the Port City why wouldn’t they. You need to talk to the right sales person.
