  1. FWIW, Princess dropped the word "class" from the name of these mini-suites. They are now called "Reserve Collection" mini-suites.
  2. It is never too early if they are available to book.
  3. Hi there! Enjoy your cruise! 🙂🥂
  4. Currently, the Island is our least favorite ship in the Princess fleet. Once upon a time it was one of our favorite ships. IMHO, the cabin additions and moving the Fitness Center to Deck 5 was a major mistake which Princess acknowledged by canceling the same modifications to the Coral. With all of this being said, we are booked on the Island for the March of 2026, 54-day, roundtrip Los Angeles voyage. The itinerary trumps the negative aspects of the ship. 🙂
  5. What you are referring to is a Future Cruise Deposit (FCD), not a FCC I know it's a bit confusing. And yes, you can book a cruise into 2026. There are no limits as to how many FCD's you can purchase. We usually have at least 3 pp available. We never know when we will book another cruise and it's nice to just be able to apply a FCD to a new booking. Below are FCD details:
  6. I applied for my expedited passport renewal first week of this past December. I had my new passport in 5 days! At first I thought they were returning my renewal application.
  7. I can say with 100% certainty that they are not adding additional cabins to the Coral. Princess realizes what a bad mistake they made with the additional cabins that were added to the Island.
  8. We saw the same thing on the new app and our Medallions for our April 10th cruise were delivered yesterday.
  9. Exactly! The price of a cruise can vary greatly from the time the itinerary is released to the time of actually sailing. That is why it is important to check your cruise fare up to final payment. I check our fares multiple times a week, this has saved us a ton of money by re-faring (or cancelling and re-booking) over the years.
  10. This is usually the case. On our recent Med/TA on the Enchanted the cut-off for the MTG Luncheon was 885 sea days! This was the first luncheon that we missed the cut-off in a long time.
  11. FWIW, it is now referred to as the Most Traveled Guest (MTG).
  12. You just pay the difference over the $15. This works out great for us as most of the wines we drink are over the $15 threshold and we only buy the Plus Package. 🍷🍷🍷
  13. Same for us, we usually have somewhere between $500 & $700 in OBC. For our upcoming December, 51-day cruise on the Majestic we were given $900 pp OBC. I see some nice bottles of wine in our future! 🤪🍷
  14. Fyi, we have been told by numerous staff/crew that when you remove the auto-gratuities, they have to turn in any gratuities that they are given to the tip pool.
  15. We will be on the Coral right after the dry dock in Singapore. I plan on doing a "Live" thread. Stay tuned...
  16. This is exactly what we have done for years. No need to rush to the ship to deal with crowds in the terminal. We show up a couple of hours before the ship is scheduled to depart and walk right on with no waiting at all.
  17. We were notified a few days ago that our Medallions had been shipped for our April 10th embarkation on the Majestic. USPS Informed Delivery shows that they will be delivered today.
  18. You mention going on the Emerald, this review was for the Enchanted Princess? 🤷‍♂️
  19. We have never had an issue booking SD while onboard. We are usually on voyages of 30+ days.
  20. You can always get it corrected onboard at Guest Services.
  21. Long-time Princess cruisers here looking to book our first Seabourn cruise. Thanks for all of the information. I'll keep perusing your forum for more info before making the leap!
  22. FWIW, as the cruise industry has bounced back most cruises are sailing full or very close to capacity. The post-covid days of ships sailing at 50% capacity are long gone!!!
