  1. I booked an interior cabin via Next cruise last month for a sailing in September on Oasis. The original booking was an interior so it came with $50 OBC. I changed it last night to a balcony. Is the OBC supposed to change from $50 to $100? I made the call last night right before closing. The phone was disconnected before I got the new invoice and by the time I got the new invoice still showing $50, I could not call back as they were already closed. Just wondering if I should bother calling back and waiting on hold forever again. TIA!
  2. I called early today to try to book 9/3/23 on Oasis to line up with the 10th & 17th we already have booked for a B3B. I was told it would be $530 cruise fare for passenger two for an interior + the regular port fees and taxes for both passengers. Others are saying they are getting higher prices. They are also saying if cruising solo you have to pay the solo supplement so it’s not truly a comp solo cruise
  3. Was she speaking to a casino host onboard? Is she saying the instant certifications earned onboard are now only BOGO as well? I really hope no one books the 404-407 cruises to show them that this change will not work!
  4. That is correct. The person that drops off will get no notification it is going to happen. The wifi will just stop working. If someone has already logged off of one of the devices before #5 joins, they won’t be asked if they want to switch devices, it will just connect
  5. It is a single ID and password. If a 5th person logs in, it boots off the device that has been signed in the longest.

  7. Has anyone tried to work using the WIFI on Grandeur recently? If so, how was it? Particularly asking about audio/video calls over VOIP or Teams/Google Meets. We are are on Wonder for a B2B now and are scheduled to move to the Grandeur on Sunday for a B2B. We are on a "workation" working M-F during regular business hours. We do workations all of the time on ships and have had no major issues that I can recall, except for the occasional temporary hiccup caused by weather, etc. We had no qualms about the Wonder with the latest and greatest WIFI but were worried about moving to the Grandeur and potential issues. Turns out, it is the WIFI on Wonder was what we needed to worry about. It has basically been unusable for anything other than simple surfing all of last week and today. Hubby needs to participate on calls daily and I have a few every week and its been impossible. The upload speed is basically 0 so no one can hear us on calls. The Voom desk has been of no help. We even tried guest services to have them connect us via a phone number to the calls and they could not figure out how to dial a phone #. With the horrible WIFI experience on Wonder, it makes us even more concerned about Grandeur so are hoping there are others who have had some experience on her lately that can offer some insight. We are going to have to seriously consider cancelling Grandeur if the WIFI is going to be as bad as it is currently on Wonder. TIA!!

  10. We are doing a B2B on Wonder starting next week before moving to a B2B on Grandeur 3/19. I know Starlink is already live on Wonder but is it live yet on Grandeur? We work remotely Mon-Fri from the ships and I have been reading some not so great reviews of the wifi on Grandeur. Thanks!

  12. I think it is anyone that orders the pre Fixe. We went on Anthem on 1/13 and ordered it for 2 and we were not on the plan. We only got 4 rolls for the Futomaki and Baked Snow Crab Dynamite rolls. The Sashimi seemed to be full size. I spoke to the manager and he said it was fleet wide that anyone who got the Prix Fixe menu would only get 4 rolls. I told him they need to change the paper menus and online ones if they are going to keep this change as it still said you get 2 large plates and the description under the large plate section states the number of rolls. They ended up giving us a Futomaki and Baked Snow crab for take-out for lunch one day to make up for poor communication of the change. It will be interesting to see if the menus are updated when we sail on anthem again on 4/23.
  13. We are sailing Wonder for the 1st time on 3/5 & have the UDP booked and have a piggy back on this question. I understand they recently changed the rules for the a la carte restaurants and the T&Cs now read "For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $20 food credit, which can only be used once a day." Does that mean you can only visit one a la carte a day, or that you can only visit a specific restaurant once per day. As an example, could I go to Izumi for lunch and just order a sushi roll but then still go to Playmakers for a snack in the evening?

  16. Agreed!! Except I was getting them for 3 people and they would only give me 2 bags. I don’t think they believed me lol.
  17. Was on Oasis late last year and they were not on display and you had to ask for them. I am on Anthem now and it is the same at Two70. They had plain last cruise. Earlier this cruise I got Salt & vinegar and the last two days they have had the cheddar ones. They are limiting it to 2 per person.
  18. Onboard Anthem now since 1/2/23. The vouchers have been a bit of a poop show. We are D+ and were using all of ours last cruise during the day and did not have any issues, but heard lots of stories where vouchers were not showing up properly for others (ie people would only have used 1 during day then tried to use one after midnight only to be told they had none left, etc). This was not just on last night - I am talking every night. This week we have been working during the day so no time for day drinking and have used no vouchers during the day Tues-Fri. We drink for free in the casino and like to use the D+ vouchers when we listen to music. The last two nights we have tried to use them after midnight and were told we have only 1 or none left. Yesterday I even asked a bartender in the casino to check our cards earlier in the evening so if showed less than 5 left each I could go to Guest services and get them to figure it out. He confirmed we had 5 left each and just like the day before, no drinks were posted on account. We went to the Music Hall to listen to the DJ later and tried to order a drink and they said we had none left and charged us. Hubby went to guest services this morning to get the charge reversed and they told him tons of people are having the same issue. Seems like they made the problem they were trying to fix worse.
  19. We go to muster station then usually head to either Solarium Bistro or WJ for lunch. It has been the Bistro lately. If it is a ship we have been on before, we grab a drink and take a stroll through the casino to see if there are any new fun games. Then we go to the solarium and chill until the cabins are ready. If the ship is new to us we do a little tour to get us situated.

  22. If you go to the app and look under dining it is in the list of restaurants and there there is a link to the menu.
  23. When is her cruise? If it is not before 3/31/23 her status will be expired if she has not sailed since before COVID.
