Here is my best guess, having never sailed a ship without YC. The YC area on ocean cay would probably not be open, the butlers provide some of the guest services on Ocean Cay, cabana setup, bring drinks, etc. You might could use the beach and chairs at YC area, but the YC beach is not the best in my opinion and is a long walk to get food.

We were on Seascape the week of July 30. I mostly wore slacks or jeans to dinner, but did wear nice shorts at least one night, with no issue. One day at lunch a guy shows up in a tank top, he had to put on a different shirt. Gala night , some dressed to the nines, some dressed casual.

You embark the ship on Friday September 22, you debark the ship on Friday September 29. One week, seven nights.

We were on Seascape on the July 30 western Caribbean sailing. The pergola hogs had staked out all of the pergolas before 5:30am. One family of 4 took two! Most remained unoccupied for long periods of time.

We’ve been to OC 5 times, all have been starboard.

He was very comedic in his daily announcements, and made a point to talk to everyone during his meet and greet in the YC. His family was on board last week!

We also enjoyed the make your own sandwich station!

16029 may be far enough toward aft to hear and feel the clacking and banging. I would think that 16023 should have heard something, our wine glasses adjacent to the common wall would rattle at times. If you do encounter an issue, skip the butler and concierge. Go straight to the YC Director!

I usually check the location, but I guess I slipped on this one!

Hopefully these are growing pains from the NYC start up. We sail October 4th to New England and Canada, maybe they will have local provisions by then!

We were on Seascape in YC last week, and preferred the marketplace buffet for lunch on port days! Much better selection IMO.

Actually cleaning the kitchen, wife and I called it the bowling alley!! Very little sleep for 4 nights! Then we began the walk of shame at night out of YC to sleep!

I never saw the people next door to us, but there was banging and dropping things from about 1:30am til 4ish. My wife will never let me forget it!!

If the lower picture is the automatic going to YC pool deck, it was out of service since Thursday of last week!

Quite a few walked out of the comedian show last week as well!!

We booked this cabin over a year ago, so I can’t remember if it was one of the few remaining, or I just didn’t do my homework!! so, I take partial blame! We were on Seascape the week of July 30, 2023, in Yacht Club Interior Cabin 16019. This cabin is located under the kitchen, which during the day, we had no issues. BUT, at night, they opened the bowling alley!! All night long!! The second night we complained to Concierge, and asked our butler for earplugs, they did not help. After complaining the forth day, YC director offered a cabin outside YC to sleep. He told us that they know the cabin has continued complaints, but MSC continues to allow passengers to book it.

We were on Seascape last week and did not have the seafood extravaganza! Was told they ran out or short ordered. Substituted a suckling pig. Took a look and decided on the Sushi restaurant.

She does that anyway…. Or is it I call her that!!

I’ll let my wife carry the charcoal!

Now to figure out how to get the Weber in the suitcase!!

You have to learn to take most of the complaints with a grain of salt. Each person may have different expectations, and if those expectations aren’t met, then they complain. Of all the cruises we have been on (about 30), I’ve had one meal that I had a true complaint. As long as I can get a good Gold Rush and cappuccino, and yes, sometimes at the same time, I’ll pretty much be happy!!

Uhhh… what were we first talking about??

Precovid, our butler and room steward had decorated our room for my birthday, upon return from an excursion. During dinner a cake was delivered. Went back to the room and they had redecorated and added a bottle of champagne!

Which sail date? We are on the October 4th cruise.

Morph, We board Seascape on July 31, hopefully your twitter, Facebook dialogue will correct the issue before we board. But then again, this is MSC!!😫
