  1. Yes, that is standard if you want to be waitlisted for a cabin where you are not already booked on the ship in a different cabin.
  2. We were a 3 and done as well, same kind of experience first time was great the next two were okay. Maybe in a couple of years but taking a break from it for now.
  3. They were definitely helpful the couple times we have stayed in suites. Once on board I find the D concierge is usually great you just can't get them to help pre cruise.
  4. 7:00, 7:15 and 7:30 reservations are held back for booking on board however many of the suites grab up those spots through the concierge.
  5. I doubt it. People have set vacation times or preferred times they want to travel. If they don't see it they will book something elsewhere. There are plenty of high end vacations for this demographic to choose from. Too risky a move to keep some hidden.
  6. Found 2 more weeks unsold, so 5 weeks available out of the 49 weeks she sails in 2024 or 92% sold
  7. MB obviously hasn't received a sales update on that in a while. I just went through from may though the end of the year and only 3 weeks are available. July 21 94k, Oct 5 67k and Dec 14 at 83k
  8. The majority of people who are booking the Ultimate family Townhouse are not even looking at the price. They are doing it for the experience. Them booking that is no differently than many of us jumping over that $100 balcony for 2 taxes in. The old saying "if you have to ask what it costs" certainly applies in this case. It's not a matter of them using the money for a $75,000 pool, these are the people who have built the pool for millions and are now buying pool furniture for the 75k
  9. It's never been an issue when calling in. It was only an issue when trying to do it yourself on line which was frustrating.
  10. Bookings made in North America would get the port fees and taxes back however the UK may have different booking policies. You would also only get one point per night as to get the 2 points per night for a solo you have to book it that way.
  11. Is it fair to the cruise line when the port fees go up and you don't get charged extra? It works both ways and from what I've seen, far more increase than go down.
  12. Just not nearly to the same extent that it was 6 months and a year ago when ships were sailing at lower capacities. Back then many were getting upgrades now its a very few per ship. The way that it's worded tends to create a lot of real hopefulness with new cruisers that ultimately does not happen.
  13. The price you see should already include any discounts. Thanks for posting that you were able to see cruises arriving a day early. That is certainly a nice change back to how it used to be.
  14. By default it will go the the agent who booked that cruise however you can have them change that as long as you know the agents booking information or you can have it in your name.
  15. Yep, Dubai is one of the embarkation ports for the World cruise segments.
  16. No. Capacity is measured at double occupancy. 2 guests in every cabin on board the ship regardless of how many can sleep in it. They could have a lot of cabins sold where there are 4 in a room so then there would be a lot of empty double occupancy cabins. For example Oasis is 5606 passengers at double occupancy on 2803 rooms with a maximum capacity of 6699 passengers. 95% would be she sailed with 5326 passengers out of a total capacity if completely full of 6699
  17. Captains club numbers won't affect pricing for Celebrity. They don't offer balcony discounts. You do get a one category upgrade within the supercategory. Pay for an E2 infinite veranda and get berthed in an E1
  18. CocoCay is what you want it to be. It can be a free beach day or you can choose to pay to do a lot of different things. Quite frankly I'd rather go there than some of the islands where I have to pay to get to a beach and then pay for food at the beach and pay to get back to the ship. A beach is a beach.
  19. Find the next date that the ship is sailing the same itinerary as you. That week change your app to that sailing and you can see the actual menus they are using. The app for your sailing is not accurate until the day you board
  20. No. The sail by date is September 20, 2023. You must sail prior to that date.
  21. Just the same same they have been running for the past 6 years or so.
