  1. Thanks. At this point we don't even know for sure if it was broken or fractured. definitely dislocated but they fixed that. The xray and CT scan were inconclusive
  2. Vikki update. Headed out this morning to the fracture clinic...no walk ins, you need an appointment. To top it off it needs to be the Dr that treated you that calls and speaks to the orthopedic surgeon here. The Dr that treated us only faxed information which is apparently not good enough. The only good thing was that we were in and out in under half an hour so no charge for parking. After a round of tears I guess the nurse took pity of Vikki and we had mentioned that they were possibly operating the morning after it happened she went and took the chart and spoke with the Dr who squeezed her in for this Thursday. It was only one day after the appointment that we would have been able to get had we stayed at the initial hospital. I must say it's a good thing she's cute because she can be a bit demanding. Not sure how cabin stewards do this for a career.
  3. When we flew home from Seattle not only did we have to fly from Seattle we also had a layover in YVR. Luckily things went very smooth which was good because our Seattle flight was delayed so our 2 hour layover turned into an hour. We were at our new gate with 45 minutes to spare. Seattle was terrible. Air Canada only staffed their booth to check luggage 2 1/2 hours pre flight. with leaving the ship we were at the airport really early and had to wait until luggage check opened before we could even attempt the security line. To top it off there is really nothing in Seattle before security including places to sit. We were those people camped out on the floor sitting beside their luggage for hours.
  4. That will by ship and person you speak to. We have rarely had issues getting our Hibachi reservation done at the same time as others, most times they just call Hibachi
  5. It is stackable with the main promo, i.e the 30% off all guest or 60% off the second guest. It is not combinable with the weekly promos such as extra savings or OBC offers. It is combinable with qualifiers such as senior, military, resident etc...
  6. In most cases you will have the ability to extend the option date and put it on hold for a week
  7. No. In order to get the discount you must be in booked in the cabin You and a relative in cabin A Your wife and a relative in cabin B
  8. Air on NCL is a joke and even if included or get 1 free I recommend people think twice before using it. - you have no say in flights - you will most likely be on a connecting flight departing very late in the day - if you have 2 cabins you could end up on different flights - NCL flew people into Montreal when they were sailing from Quebec city (3 hours away by car)
  9. Like most things Royal it probably varies by ship
  10. In 8210 the bed is by the balcony. There are a couple reasons why this is done. One is that bathrooms are kept beside each other so one cabin has bathroom on the right and the other has it on the left, this saves ace and makes routing for plumbing much easier. Because of that the location of the bed has to change. Also the wall between the two cabins is not straight so one part of the cabin will be about a foot wider than the other. Balcony cabins on Oasis follow a set pattern. Bed by balcony, bed by bath, balcony, bath, balcony, bath etc... Cabins that hold 4 guests will always have the bed by the bath while cabins for 2 can have the bed by bath or bed by balcony. If you find a 4 person cabin then it will have the bed by the bath and the cabins on either side of it will have the bed by the balcony....follow the pattern up or down the hall. Another way to figure it out is to find a pair of connecting cabins. Looking at the pair form the hallway the cabin on the right will have the bed by the balcony and the cabin on the left will have the bed by the bath. Follow the same pattern. On Oasis and Allure many people, myself included prefer to have the bed by the balcony because it is difficult to access the closet in the bed by the closet configuration. Different design on HM, SY and WN has eliminated that problem with the closet. If 8220 0r 8224 were available you could switch to those as they both have the bed by the bath.
  11. Not an issue at all. On board just get extra keys made at guest services. Some ships will change people around while others won't so in that case you just have to carry 2 keys, one for the room and the one for your seapass account.
  12. If you were booked in a group and were looking at having them linked for dining you will never see the numbers appear on your reservation. In groups they never actually link the bookings, they are tagged instead. Its a small difference but group dining is done a bit differently. If booking restaurants and other excursions you should have the option when making reservations to "add guests from another reservation" so that you can book everyone at once.
  13. Norwegians free drinks, shore excursions snd wifi are not free, just included in their higher prices.
  14. I would have thought it was you creating an alternate profile in case you got caught up in a prolonged game of Monopoly
  15. Unfortunately they remove all of the zero charges and there is no way (that I know of) to get the full statement that you see on the app. Even when they print them on the ship they only show actual charges.
  16. That was definitely a plus. Last time I went was for kidney stones and they kept me waiting over 5 hours until they even let me into the ER and then it was more of a wait to see a Dr. Crazy, especially since I was in for the same thing a week prior.
  17. I never did but my daughter did. She used to be in the habit of leaving animals for our cabin steward and hotel staff
  18. Yeah, definitely good that she is going to a specialist clinic tomorrow. She's been there before when they diagnosed her with stress fractures years ago.
  19. That is exactly what we heard from several crew on the Voyager
  20. They said they are not releasing a schedule when they were asked that directly
