Good evening all, I hope everyone had a good day. I never got to post yesterday but I hope everyone is doing well I was to Corfu on KDAM premier sailing in 2016. I remember going to the Achelon palace and just a tour around the island. I have an update on Barb from her husband. She is wiped out from the chemotherapy and still not gaining any weight. Next week is an off week with no treatment and they hope to go to the mountains for a few days 🙏🤞 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny and warm afternoon.I’m back from my doctors appointment, basically nothing’s changed. He wants to keep doing the Botox and try a different muscle relaxer. See you in 6 months but at checkout the scheduler said his first available appointment is June. So much for 6 months, but on the list for cancellation. Also, came home to a message from the electric company that due to scheduled maintenance we will lose power tomorrow from 9-2 . Life is good 😀

Good sunny morning.It’s going to be a beautiful day. I have a neurologist appointment this morning at 11:30 in Hershey. This is a 6 month appointment. I really don’t feel he is doing anything for me other then getting me the Botox approval but I’m just trying to make some progress with the Parkinson’s. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

We’re telepathically celebrating Thanksgiving Day with our Canadian friends by having a takeout turkey dinner from a local restaurant. It’s a complete meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce and freshly baked bread.

The passengers that were on ship tours were stopped on tour and returned to the ship immediately. In the end, there were 2 independent pax they ended up waiting for. Fortunately, they were located before the ship had to sail. Unfortunately, as they were dropping lines, a medical emergency occurred and they had to evacuate the passenger.

It’s so wonderful to hear that Nieuw Statendam is safely back at sea with all pax onboard. I hope the pax that was medically disembarked will be okay. I can’t imagine being onboard a ship docked in a country that has just declared a state of war. It certainly makes some of the other complaints on other threads on this forum be absolutely les than life changing.

Another you just can’t make the up happened tonight. I had to pick up a prescription and then we were going to go thru Arby’s drive thru for roast beef sandwiches “we don’t have any roast beef right now.” How did that happen 😀

So since it was such a beautiful day, DB decided we should go for a ride. We ended up at Wilmington De at a favorite hamburger restaurant and then we went to Total Wine. Wow, that location is huge, got a bottle of sparkling rose and a white peach Bellini. They were really helpful.

Good warm and sunny afternoon. I had a Dr appointment this morning and it was a mixed bag . The bloodwork showed some signs of further kidney problems but she can’t say for certain that it is accurate or that the Botox last Thursday might have caused the changes. So, she wants to repeat the bloodwork in 2/3 weeks and then possibly a referral to Nephrologist . She said that could take a while because there are not many in the area. 🤞My next appointment is in 6 months. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

@Heidi13, Yes to the noontime lottery on the ships run. My girlfriends and I won it one time and celebrated it with some drinks. I think it was about $50,
