Emerald Status Embarking on Oasis

At what point to you get Emerald Status embarking privileges when you arrive at terminal. Some terminals you still have to wait in a long line before special treatment starts.

Two different issues - check in and actual embarkation. At the PC terminal, there should be a check in line for Emerald (sometimes the general line is shorter so there's no real perk to this). Assuming you arrive after about 11, you should be able to embark right away. Before then, you'll have to wait till the higher tier folks embark, then you go.

It makes no difference at check in.

there are SO many past/repeat cruisers that having a check in line for Emerald( or Diamond) is meaningless.

There will be a general line for security before check-in ... the only division there, I think, is suite and non-suite.

I will say that on one ship (I think it was Allure) that we had to check-in/board with gold (long story), and the wait was WAY WAY longer than if we would have checked-in/boarded with platinum. We've only experienced it once, but it sucked :(Usually we get there bright and early, and have minimal wait :)
