Mac_tlc...mind if I ask what the going rate is now for B2? That's the one I want in March [emoji6]

It was close to or over $400 in March. My mind is thinking $395 but that could be old pricing. If my memory is correct OTW Cadanas are closer to $500.

Labadee was amazing yesterday. Hannah escorted us off the ship at 10:00. She walked us down the pier, room our picture, and took us on a golf cart to Barefoot a beach. My mom and brother decided they wanted to zip line so Hannah also set that up with the concierge at Barefoot Beach. 346c988407b55155fe90ebefa66be651.jpg

Barefoot Beach was so nice. The water is perfectly calm and the beach isn’t too rocky. We decided against getting a cabana as we knew we wouldn’t use it. We greatly enjoyed floating on a mat with a labadoozie in hand. They also had snorkel gear we used as well. a353e1b62588b88c7897d1289d2006d2.jpg

My mom and brother had a 12 o’clock zip line appointment. They needed to meet at 11:45 and didn’t finish and get back until 1. They had a blast though. After we relaxed some more and my daughter had fun at the splash pad while I shopped the market a little. cf31979f5927deb98a940a6aead9c6b9.jpg

When we got back we quickly had to meet Hannah to ice skate again. By he time all was done we were pooped and decided instead of going to Giovanni’s we would have it delivered. I called Hannah up and placed our order for 6:45. At 6:44 dinner was delivered and we ate it on our balcony. e3b09c68dbd5dee60755814d1533d38d.jpg. We then headed off for Come Fly with Me and finished off the night with some Ben and Jerry’s from Cups and Scoops.

Question; Did you have room service delivered from one of the Specialty Restaurants and how did that work out?

The genie provides all of the specialty restaurant menus by e-mail a couple weeks before we departed. We emailed her our order from Chops around 3pm, and it arrived around 6:30pm. Fabulous.

We had it from Giovanni’s last night. You just call your Genie with your order and give them a time you want it delivered. Then they come up and set the table either inside or outside. It’s so nice.

My thanks to both of you. Exactly the type of information I was looking for. It's both good and bad news.

The Good. One of the things my wife is looking forward to is a more casual and relaxing dining experience. I'll bet we have all our dinners on the balcony.

The Bad. I'll need to budget more for Star Class cruises.

First Star class next year. Just curious - rough ballpark estimate how much $ for genie’s tip for 7 days? Not trying to pry but would like an idea.

There was a thread on this about on month ago:

Don't forget, you'll still need to consider your steward, etc.

Thanks! Not a ton of great info but it appears $100 a night is what some have done.

My memory isn’t as good as I thought. :D

Not your memory...I feel like they have changed the price of these cabanas a lot over the last year and a half or so. I can't keep track either. I'm pretty sure the last time I was in Labadee last summer, the price was more around your ballpark Andrew. Oh well, Hubby likes the the beach, and I will only stay if there is a cabana...so that's the compromise [emoji6]

I second that! This thread is full of useful tips. Thanks to Amy and Mac! And rocketman...you are not the only one. I have curbed my spending considerably since booking Star Class [emoji38]

Thank you amybk27 and mac_tlc both for a 2 in 1 review. Really enjoying the wealth of info here.

May I ask if drink orders were allowed and delivered to the rooms, along with the meal? Also any experience with long waits at the windjammer?

I too would like to know about alcoholic drinks.

I know you have an beverage package but can you get various cocktails made and delivered?

Glasses and bottles of wine delivered to the room?

Are there sodas/beer/miniatures in the refrigerator? Are these complimentary?

Thanks.

You cannot get bottles of wine delivered unless you buy them. We had grey goose shots and cava champagne delivered with our afternoon snacks and mimosas with breakfast made with fresh squeezed oj. There are sods beer and water restocked.

If you had shots and champagne delivered, does that mean you can get mixed drinks and wine by the glass delivered?

Any miniatures in the fridge?

There are no miniatures in the fridge. We honestly did not order any mixed drinks. We had a standing order for Grey goose to be delivered in the afternoon and it just came everyday. Keep in mind if you call and ask for a mixed drink it may take a while unless you order it through your genie. I did order a Sabor Margarita (the best one on the whole ship.) and guac from Sabor that took about a half hour. You could also probally order a glass of wine as well, but it may be quicker to go to the suite lounge.

They will have any mixers available if you ask. I detest the Coke Minute Maid OJ and asked for fresh squeezed. If there is a particular mixer you like, ask your genie before the cruise to have it in stock so they can get it from port.

Actually, since we're in an Aqua Suite, it might be easier to just drop down to one of the bars on Central Park.
